Gun control debates raise every year that bring a lot of attention to the people in America. The debate that many Americans face is whether or not laws should be stricter from preventing people to own guns. The debate is among advocates for pro-gun and advocated for gun control. There should be stricter laws because there is not any structure with gun control in the United States. Many agree to this statement and many oppose but both have their own reasons. The shooting at Virginia Tech and Tuscan, have many concerns about the control the government has on guns among many Americans. Previously there had been laws created to ease the tension but that didn’t have much power over guns. Now a days there’s always shooting going on and people want answers. Many people are being seriously injured or even worse killed, and the president not having much response on debates that need to be answered. New laws are needed to stop crimes and violence in the United States because there should be exception hen citizen take advantage of freedom. Many say that new gun control are right when they say guns are not the only weapon that can hurt an individual, but as of now, guns are the most leading cause of deaths in the United States today. Stronger background checks are needed to make a change and decrease the number of deaths in the nation. The shooting in Arizona has raised concern and now citizen of the United States are waiting for answers. Montopli (CBS) says there are more people that want stricter laws while gun advocates think there is nothing wrong with the laws. Gun advocates say guns are for your protection but they are not thinking that innocent people are getting killed. They need to know that mentally challenged people should be nowhere near guns.
