By introduction of guidance and counseling the government and education department officials felt that problems at school level will be decreased a lot but the atmosphere is not up to the level. Hence the study highlights on the role and importance of guidance and counseling. According to Corey (1988) regards counseling as a process which occurs in one to one relationship between an individual troubled by problems with which can’t cope with and a professional worker whose training and experiences have qualified to help others reach solution to personal needs. Okoye (1990) viewed counseling as an interactional relationship designed to facilitate the personal development of information leading to effective decision making and awareness of the self. By Akinade (2012), guidance and counseling as a process of helping an individual become fully aware of an individual and the ways in responding to the influences of the environment. On career point of view; the guidance and counseling can use the study in creating awareness of different careers available in the society. The Department of Education may accept the study in coming up with new methods, when accepting by designing learning tools and the promotion of staff. Lastly, the center may stress the study useful as it may act as a link networking a number of ministries such as the Ministry of Culture, Arts, Games, Sciences, Sports and Technology. Stake holders may use the information to find the level of effectiveness of the programs and how it can be combined into the concerns of teacher education
