If you want a good book to learn what the first year of middle school can be like, read “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”. The book shows what it is like for a middle schooler who is just coming into the middle school environment. The genre of this book is young adult fiction, meaning it is for more kids in middle school. The book is a action/ adventure book, showing what kinds of things you can learn while being in middle school.
In the book “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” a kid named Greg Heffley is introduced at the beginning of the book. This book shows what it is like to go through middle school when you begin sixth grade. It is not as easy as you think it might be to make friends or to be popular, you do not just wake up one morning and have all the friends or be the most popular. Greg has to show everyone that he is more capable and can live up to the expectation he sets for himself. If it were up to me I would hang out with the people that like the same hobbies and that play the same sports. It is also to important to pick the right friends and that you know they're not going to be rude to you or make fun of you.
