A leader makes people achieve the goal not because the leader forced them to do it but because the supporters want to do it. “Leadership is the art of getting someone else to do something you want done because he wants to do it.”- Dwight D. Eisenhower. A great leader is someone who’s knowledgeable, who has great communication skills to communicate with one or other, and someone who has a tolerate work ethnic. All of these qualities make a good leader. Furthermore, this is one of the most important things that make a remarkable leader.
Introduction Many great leaders have one thing in common and that is charisma. Charismatic leaders are those that have the capability to inspire and encourage people to do more than they would normally do, despite obstacles and personal sacrifice. (Daft, R.L, pg. 364) Charisma is what provokes energy and commitment out of its followers. These leaders possess the power to motivate their followers to do almost anything.
Winston Churchill is a good example of one of the greatest leaders in history. His ability to mobilize and strengthen his people through words and policies was phenomenal. Another attribute as a leader was not only inspiring people but he also demonstrated enthusiasm and determination. American’s today have so many inspirational leaders to learn from and follow. So what keeps us from following into their footsteps?
For this reason, leaders are great at gathering people into their cause. When a great leader stands up for something he or she believes in they send others into a state of awe. The diversity and communication has deep relation which is very useful tool for leadership. The spiritual leadership has some complex ideas; however, followers perform well by following spiritual leadership. Leading team is a big opportunity for a leadership. The concept of politics with leadership arise the importance of leadership describing the personal power and leadership position. Finally, I learnt that the relationship between leaders and followers is a key of success for a great leader who can survive anywhere anytime.
Dr. King was a great example of this because he gave people something to believe in and a reason to believe in his vision. Excellent leaders such as Dr. King often have to a difficult and time consuming course to achievement. An excellent leader doesn’t withdrawn or give up when faced with a big task. Leaders should seek to promote the interests of others. I believe they genuinely want to help others.
Maxwell says that if it’s lonely at the top, you’re not doing something right. I cannot agree more with this statement. A great leader is not alone. A great leader surrounds themselves with the right people to help make them an effective leader. As Maxwell said, taking people to the top is what good leaders do.

To some extent it is true that people are born with leadership qualities. However leaning how to be a more effective leader is always possible.
A leader must be inspiring, they must be able to invite and welcome others. They need to make those around feel like they can get things do and that they know the right way to get these things done. This personality trait is one of the most important for leaders to have. As a leader you should be charming and convincing, someone who others are willing to follow, you can lead if you have no one following you. No matter what cause your leading you must be able to other to not only follow but believe in you and your cause.
A good leader must be faithful to his team and activities which will create an atmosphere of assurances with the team. A leader’s faith and knowledge in their self abilities and the world around them will help them gain inspiration and inspire others. As I work through my own challenges to become a great leader I hope to become a great leader who leaves a positive imprint on the people I lead.
