For example, Steinbeck writes chapter seven using a newsreel technique. By using small pieces of spoken conversation, and half-thoughts, Steinbeck is able to create a mood of confusion and chaos. He creates an image of how the migrants were taken advantage of and gives In addition, chapter five creates a clear image of the devastation that the farmers faced and their hatred for the "monster" bank. This interchapter allows the reader to experience the passion that the farmers have toward the land and the choices they had to make concerning betrayal of their own people. Furthermore, chapter nine provides the reader with and give away, sell or burn their lives and their past. This interchapter sets the mood of misery and despair and is one of the most touching because it captures the sympathy of the reader and allows them to realize the tough times the migrants faced and overcame. Had these few pages not been included in the work, the novel would suffer greatly because it would not capture the sympathy of the reader towards the migrants. The migrants argue that they live in a free country, but they are forced to face the fact that they are not free unless they can pay for it. Animalistic nature is a quality many posses in the early stages of life. Some quickly evolve from this quality, while others retain it for a lifetime. In John Steinbeck's novel The Grapes of Wrath the Joad family and the changing environment they live in are portrayed as animal-like situations. Steinbeck characterizes the Joads and their fellow migrants as modest, instinct-driven individuals that are on an infinite search for paradise. The so-called “Okies” and the forces that compel them to make their voyage, nature and society, are frequently represented by animals. When they first leave their home, the Joads are a group of simplistic, animal-like people who do not understand or even realize their dilemma. However, as the novel progresses, they begin to grow and adapt to their new surroundings. They progress from an individual, self-oriented family of animals to a part of a much more superior family – society.
In the beginning of the novel, Steinbeck describes the devastating Dust bowl that settles “on the corn, on roofs,” and blankets “the weeds and trees” (Steinbeck 3). There is an anecdote of a turtle who struggles to get to the other side of the road. The turtle struggles up the embankment like the families struggled to get to California. When he was trying to cross the highway he was nearly hit twice, which is similar to the business owners and Californians running over the Oklahoma people. Not all these symptoms occur in every case of asthma.Sometimes people may have coughing without and symptoms for months or even years before it's realized that they are asthmatic. Interestingly enough, asthma symptoms are most severe at night, while we're lying down our airways narrow as a result of gravity changes. Also our lungs do not clear secretions as well at night, which leads to mucous retention, and that can increase the obstruction to air flow.

During an asthma attack, you may breathe so fast that you may have a hard time talking. Coughing, wheezing, and chest tightness can cause you to feel anxious or scared. This may make you feel even more short of breath. Although rare, low oxygen levels in your blood may
