Murder, stealing, substance abuse, all good reasons to arrest someone. But displaying your artwork I don't see that as a good enough reason. Graffiti has been around since 1967, as a way to express how you feel or protest from a political act. Graffiti really took off on its leap in popularity in the 1980s. It became a public icon among many Urban streets especially in places like Philadelphia, Detroit , Compton, La broncs and New York, New york. Especially popular in urban areas. Graffiti is a form of art and a way for people who come from broken homes and a hard life to finally show people their ability with having a meaningful message behind it. Some people become vandals because they want to make the world a better looking place.¨ People have a different perception about what the phrase ¨Make a difference in the world¨ means to someone graffiti is changing the world to another itś making the streets dirty so why is someone allowed to say that someone's way of making the world a better place is wrong. Many of these young kids doing graffiti are coming from broken homes and bad areas , graffiti is there escape from reality and way for them to be themselves.An artist who goes by the name of Banksy was vandel in the U.K starting the 1990s now you can see is artwork published all around the world in famous art museums such as the Metropolitan, Museum of modern art, and The American Museum of Natural History. The famous sang ¨One mans trash is another man's treasure¨ applies very much in this case, Police officers saw his art as per Injustice to the law but several people view his artwork now and I think ¨what a beautiful piece this is¨.This all goes to show that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.Cops arrest people for vandalism every single day but maybe they need to stop and think ¨is this really hurting
