Introduction
Every new technological breakthrough our society takes on forces a change in the social norm. The groundbreaking Google Glass augmented reality (AR) technology could tremendously advance our society for the better; however, ethical concerns cause people to fear the new technology instead of embrace it. AR “refers to a wide spectrum of technologies that project computer generated materials, such as text, images, and video, onto users’ perceptions of the real world” (Yuen, Gallayanee, and Johnson 119). This sounds like science fiction to people not involved in the tech industry, so it may come as a surprise to them that we now achieved AR in Google Glass. Places of business already banning the unreleased product because of potential

Certain Ophthalmologists, eye doctors, voiced that Google Glass use can cause eye fatigue and visual confusion. To explain how our bodies adjust to the glasses, Ophthalmologist Sina Fateh simplified, “the problem is that you have two eyes and the brain hates seeing one image in front of one eye and nothing in front of the other.” When both eyes look at different objects, the image projected by Google Glass could cause binocular rivalry, visual interference and a latent misalignment of the eyes (Martin). Google will take these potential side effects seriously.
Additionally, the potential harm to the brain from the electromagnetic radiation exposure of all cellular technology has had users uneasy for years about the risk of brain tumors from extensive cell phone use. These worries resurface once more in light of the introduction of Google Glass, particularly since the device rests on the head, closer to the brain than a handheld device. The cellular phone industry addressed and dealt with these concerns previously, and our social media campaign will continue to promote the safety benefits of our products.

Behaviors such as taking photos and video of people in public places are already possible with any mobile phone on the market. Social media rollout of the product will emphasize ethical usage of the recording technology. The user will also find community guidelines for use in the device manuals. Google spokesmen previously commented on the “built in explicit signals—including voice commands or gestures, along with the screen lighting up—to make it clear to others when someone is taking a picture or recording a video” (Davis). The ads will report this feature to further ease worries.
Piracy
Reminders of legal ramifications will join the ethical expectations of the user in the agreement. The banning of Google Glass is just a footnote in the list of items banned from theaters. It should not be a shock that one cannot record in a theater. Google will work with the outlets for copyright materials, such as movie distributors and concert venues, to enhance public awareness of the region’s piracy laws and penalties. The user agreement will specifically require an acknowledgement of the risks of pirating copyrighted materials.
To start off, radiation from cell phones affect the activity of brain cells when it is held close to the side of the head. According to the article, “Cell Phones May Be Carcinogenic Hazards” by Danielle Dellorto, researchers have found that just after 50
Wearable is getting much hyped lately and is projected as the next big thing to come, deemed as the future of consumer electronics. It is the biggest new innovation in technology since smartphone, and the possibilities are endless. Devices fall into this category are watch, glasses, armband, shoes, and any other things that we use everyday as part of our daily life. Electronic brain is embedded to this product, enable it to collect data, analyze, advice, and influence us in our daily decision making process.
Google Glass is a new form of technology that has heads turning everywhere. Glass is a wearable computing device with a frame-like construction that is comparable to everyday glasses. The frame consists of nose pads, a touchpad, and a small heads-up display that lies just above the right eye. The problem is not the device itself, but what the device is capable of. A camera lies beside the displa...
“Mr. Watson –come here – I want to see you.” These were the first words that Alexander Graham Bell said to his assistant, Thomas A. Watson, by telephone on March 10, 1876. Because people wanted to communicate, they were happy when telephones were introduced. Right now, most people have cell phones (wireless communication technology) which work by radiofrequency exposure in an electromagnetic field. Because cell phones are very important devices in our lives, people use them a lot .Not only do people use cell phones to communicate, but also they use them to take pictures, to search the internet and to send text messages. As a result, people are spending a lot of time with mobile phones which work in an electromagnetic field. There are several devices that have radiofrequency waves, such as microwaves, TVs, computers, and Laptops. Because people interact with many kinds of devices, and each of them creates radiofrequency exposure, scientists have studied the effects of an electromagnetic field on human health. Even though mobile phones have low–power radiofrequency transmitters, and they are considered non–ionizing radiations which can’t break down to biological tissues, people should be protected from too much radiation. Although studies have shown that there are links between radiofrequency and cancer, mobile phone use is growing. Therefore, it is very important for people to know what to do in order to reduce the risk of wireless communication technology.
For example, talking too much over cellphones can damage hearing. According to study in Use of Cell Phone Long Hour Cause Hearing Loss, “Those who used mobile phones for more than four years had more hearing loss in high-frequency ranges in their right ear, the ear most held the phone to, than those who used the mobile phone for one to two years” (Dohheny). Another example is using cellphones for a long period or too much is bad for the eyes. The vision of the eyes can get weaker by looking at the cell phone screen. According to the article Does staring at screens all day really damage your eyes?, found that 61 percent of Americans have experienced eye strain after prolonged use of electronic devices — nearly 2 out of every 3 people (Hill). One of my friends in school was wearing glasses when I saw her one day. I said, “What happened? Why are you wearing glasses?” She said, “My eyes are in pain.” She told me that she had been typing all night on her cell phone. The reflected light that comes from electronic devices’ screens can cause eyestrain because of long-period concentration on the screens. Furthermore, cell phone can also damage the brain and possibly cause brain tumors. Lloyd Morgan, a member of the Bioelectromagnetics Society says, ' 'Science has shown increased risk of brain tumors from use of cell phones, as well as increased risk of eye cancer, salivary gland tumors, testiculars cancer,
Most people often refer to this device incorrectly as, Google glasses, which are described as a device that is a lens less eyeglass frame, that has a mobile computing device built into the stem that sits on the right ear. This device displays a small transparent picture that sits above your right eye. Glass is a lightweight, bendable frame that can be adjusted for fitting to an individual. On glass it has a thick back part that keeps the batteries and the rest of the settings for the device, such as the touc...
The city council has considered a proposal that bans the use of cellphones in privately owned businesses such as restaurants, movie theaters, and retail stores. The city council should decline this proposal because the use of cellphones can be advantageous to their business. People use their phones to take pictures of products and post them on social media. This way, people promote businesses by sharing about their experiences. They often write reviews on how wonderful their visit was or how it could be better. This feedback is useful for the improvement of businesses to better please their customers; it can be more easily accessible if their customers had their phones with them. Another reason why phones should not be banned is because of

Brain tumors and eye cancer are two health concerns of cell phones that are currently under investigation. Many people have heard rumors about whether or not cell phones are responsible for these health problems, but answers never seem to be found.

Research also points to an increased risk of multiple types of cancer (Hardell 40). Epidemiologic evidence in the last few years claims that mobile phone usage and risks of brain tumors and other types, such as salivary gland tumors in the adult head have grown tremendously
Cell phones are one of the greatest inventions in the world. We can imagine how life would be without cell phones. Cell phones are very handy; it can make our communication easier. Also cell phones can provide us with everything, like relaxing with music, browsing the internet, chatting on social networking sites or playing games. Unfortunately cell phones are not risk free. Using cell phones involve emission of EMR electromagnetic radiation, which is a dangerous sort of energy wave, is produce by modern appliances that surround us in everyday lives. The worst causes of EMR are cell phones. These days especially children are getting addicted to cell phones. When you are talking on your phone, there are microwaves going through your head. There has been a study on the development of brain tumors and the amount of time you take on the phone due to radio waves. However, people do not realize the consequences and negative effects cell phones cause. It causes diseases and disorders and other harmful damages to our body and health. Nevertheless, cell phones are also not dangerous.
Many people require eyeglasses because they may have farsighted or nearsighted vision. While eyeglasses where made in the early twelve hundreds and the inventors were anonymous, they did a lot of justice for many people all over the world. These inventors were able to help others live a better quality of life, because their vision had been made better. When you have strong vision you are more independent and able to function without assistance, but when your vision is week you may need assistance. You may need assistance with driving, with getting a job, and you may need assistance moving safely when in unknown surroundings. The eye is a key function to the body; therefore it is important to visit the eye doctor or Optometrists on a yearly basis to determine if new lenses are required.
