A. My Interests: • Volleyball- I have played for 13 years and still play today with my mom and dad. • Running- I often get very stressed out with life and running helps me cope with that stress. • Science- I absolutely love anything science, I find learning how things work to be very fascinating. B. My Hobbies and/or Skills: • Drawing- When I have free time I enjoy drawing, specifically cartoon characters. • Reading- I have always loved reading, and wish I had time to read a little while every day. • Sudoku- I enjoy a challenge, and Sudoku makes me think quite a bit. C. People • Daniel Radcliffe- Plays Harry Potter in the movies, which is my favorite movie series. • Hillary Duff- I grew up listening to her music with several of my friends and …show more content…
Everyone has the right to wear what they choose without someone else thinking they are “asking for it” and consent should always be given no matter the circumstances. K. Plans & Policies • Google’s 20% Time- I wrote a paper about Google in the past and found this policy pretty surprising because Google gave their employees 20% of their time at work, to spend on whatever they believed would improve Google the most. • Class Sizes- Several schools have set limits on class sizes to help improve learning for all kids. Personally I learn much better in a small class setting than a huge class where I can get individual help from the teacher if I need it. • Graduation Requirements- I have numerous opinions on this subject, and believe that colleges require far too many general education requirements. In particular, almost all college degrees require students to take English and math classes that have already been taken in high school. I understand that colleges are trying to make students “well rounded” but on the other side of things I believe colleges are only trying to make more
It is the American dream to get out of high school and to start working towards your degree, right? Perusing a degree in the United States is not as dream like for some students. Many factors such as the learning environment, where you come from, and the knowledge and will power can shape how the higher education experience can go. While not all of these factors necessarily point to a rough or tough college experience, but also show that we as a nation could help our students be more educated and prepared to pursue and finish a degree. All students should be given equal opportunity and tools to become a successful member of society.
job. The job can be too much at times and it is important to have healthy hobbies outside of law
One of my passions is basketball. Basketball is my main passion because when I grow up my goal is to become a professional WNBA player. My other passion is reading. I love reading, anytime I have a chance I always read my favorite genre of books to read is Non-Fictional.
Secondly, college is where a person goes to discover him/herself. This is one of the many goals of the college system, and that discovery process is hindered by unneeded, mandatory classes. Students should be able to try many different classes to discover what interests them the most, not to be fed knowledge that they very well might know already (and is perhaps of no interest to them). If required courses were eliminated, it would free up much time that students could then use to pursue their own interests. College exists to help people become unique individuals, not to put every person into the same standard mold.
.... Having such high numbers of students in my classes did have negative effects on my learning. Without having teachers who knew me as an individual, I was left with a very impersonal learning environment. With having so many students in each of my classes, I had a very hard time having all of my questions answered by my teachers. The hardest part of having so many students in my classes was that I was often not the smartest one in there, and when I gave a wrong answer I was laughed at. It is not fair to feel intimidated by the amount of students in your classroom. No one should be afraid to learn for the fear of embarrassment. Students should not have the opportunity not to learn because the teacher can not relate to them, or because the teacher does not have the time to answer all their questions, or because their teacher only gives attention to the smarter students.
To me college education is a major need to. College curriculums need to a balance of many styles of learning to best fit a wide range of student needs. I say college is great as well as being not for everyone.

The two companies that created these search engines have billions of dollars and numerous other resources at their disposal available for the research, the development and the innovation of their products or services. But even if you have all the funds in the world at your fingertips, if you have a bad brand image in the consumers eyes your brand will have extreme difficulty inserting itself in the market. So how does the public perceive these brands?
Many teachers believe classrooms are too small. Many teachers and students believe classrooms are not big enough. If students are working on a group activity that takes up a lot of space will have to do activity in the hallway. If students are watching a film for class will have to move or adjust because most likely students in the back of the classroom cannot see. Teachers may not have enough desks some students may end up sitting in a part of the room where it could be the size of a coat closet.
2009 was a negative period for the United States economy. A big recession hit the country, and the founders of Google were trying to make a plan in order to make to limit the damage caused by an economic decline. Brin and Page the two creators of the giant Google were shocked form the situation that was occurring. Their company was feeling the effect of the economic downturn. Google’s stock price dropped 51 percent. The two entrepreneurs were trying to figure out a way to keep the company from drowning. Google main problem was how to maintain the culture that made the company successful in the previous two years. Some consequences that the company had to face was eliminating products that
Class size makes a huge impact on how the student learns. Along with many other things, there is more to the amount of kids in class than most people think. The quality one on one time is affected. Along with that, important questions that the students needs clarity on from the teacher might not be able to be answered because so many other students are in the room asking their own question. Students learn in their own ways. Teachers have to be flexible to how their students learn and in order to do that they need to know their students on a personal level. When class sizes are large, it effects students in negative ways in their learning.
The technology was innovated, upgraded and extended. My favorite area of science is definitely Zoology because it has to do with animals and they are my passion.
In 1995, the founders of Google, Larry Page and Sergey Brin met at Stanford. A year later in 1996, Larry and Sergey began collaborating on a search engine called BackRub. Backrub operated on the Stanford servers for more than a year before taking up too much bandwidth. The following year, on September 15th, 1997, Google.com is registered as a domain. The founders created Google with a mission in mind, to organize a seemingly infinite amount of information on the web. The name itself is a representation of this mission, Google is a play on the word “googol" a mathematical term for the number represented by the numeral one followed by 100 zeroes (“Our history”).
