Defenseless children grow up to be horrible criminals. It would be so cruel to have Marla go through with the pregnancy. Therefore, Marla should have a therapeutic abortion.
As we can see we really don’t have a moral argument because even though we have three premises all of them are nonmoral and so at least one premise must be moral. Even though the conclusion was moral that still isn’t enough for it to be a moral argument. Also, the argument committed a fallacy called Appeal to emotion, which means that the argument used particular words that can cause feelings for example defenseless, criminals, cruel, and etc. Now that isn’t acceptable, not only that but there’s no real reason why it’s right, and bringing emotions is not the solution.
