The Pros And Cons Of Creationism

Every day some of us are fortunate enough to wake up and see another day in this world. A beautiful domain where human beings are constantly surrounded by spectacular scenery and creations. Yet the question where did these creations come from still exists. The Bible states in Genesis chapter one verses one and two, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the spirit of God was hovering over the waters” (Gn. 1.1-2). Today I will be proving that God is the reason behind the creation of the world.
Creationism can be defined as the principle that the true story of the Universe’s creation is as it is expressed in the Bible, particularly in the first …show more content…

These structures are considered to be the origin of life and contribute to the body’s genetic make-up (Parker, “The Origin of Life”). DNA, also known as, deoxyribonucleic acid, is a genetic material that is formed in a double helix (Genetic Home Reference, “What is DNA?”. This genetic molecule is able to replicate itself. DNA is an extremely complex molecule, too complex to have been slowly changed or formed over a period of time, which evolution theorists may propose (Higgins, “Can Science Support Creationism”). Proteins are found in every cell and allow it to function (Genetic Science, “What is a Protein?”). A protein, Laminin, in particular, that works as a glue to keep a cell intact is in the shape of a cross. In the bible, Romans chapter one verse twenty states, “For since the creation of the world His attributes are clearly seen, being understood by things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse” (Rom. 1.20). Thus, Laminin being in the shape of a cross clearly represents and attests God is responsible for such creation (Purdom, “Laminin and the …show more content…

The evolution proposition believes dinosaurs were extinct nearly sixty-five million years before man was ever created, however, the fossilized evidence of human and dinosaur remains proves that theory to be incorrect (Creation Moments, “Proof of Humans and Dinosaurs Together”). Evolutionists believe creation came from a slow course of change yet there are far too many creations, such as DNA, that are so complex to have been born from such a process (Higgins, “Can Science Support Creationism”). There is also evidence of rapid formation in the earth’s crust itself. The earth’s crust is made up of mainly sedimentary rock beds. Thus, meaning it was formed by rapid erosion, transportation, and installation of water, lacking any indication of a long-term process (ICR, “Geological Evidence Indicates Rapid Formation”). Charles Darwin, a famous evolutionist, himself renounced his theory of evolution on his deathbed. Darwin spent his whole life challenging religious theories of creation yet on before his death he accepted Christianity (Grigg, “Did Darwin Recant?”). If a prime leader of evolution could not deny creationism, who else
