Over 2.2 billion people claim to be of the Christian faith (Johnson, 2016). Christianity is based on God and his creation, his son Jesus who gave his life for the sins of mankind, and through him one can obtain eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven. God is the almighty. He is the creator of all creation. For Christians, God is the ultimate reality (“Lecture 2,” 2016). This means that God has power over everything, he is the sovereign. By living the Christian life, one can know that they will spend enteral life with God in the Kingdom of Heaven. Christianity can be confusing also and hard to believe in. Some may feel that they need to see or hear the works of God to believe in him. Having faith though is believing in the unseen. God formed mankind in his image so that we can have some if his characteristics, Christians need to apply these characteristics in their daily life.
