Promoting Go Green Solutions in such an Extreme Manner is more Harmful than Good

Many mediums of information have advertisements about pollution, recycling, global warming, and other environmental topics that promote reducing electrical power, or using more recyclable materials, with a big emphasis on "going green." Long sentence. These advertisements promote rash decisions from people without giving them time to think about the available solutions. The preservation of earth is hugely important, but promoting these solutions in such an extreme manner is more harmful than good. Christians are called to be good stewards of the earth, so their solutions should be thoughtful, balanced, and avoid extremes. I looked over you first paragraph. Make sure that you read before you post. Write as concisely as possible. In the Bible, God clearly instructs humans to have dominion over the earth, and to be good stewards towards it. If people are too hasty in their thinking, they are likely to make decisions that are not well thought out, and may cause more harm than good which is counterproductive to being a good steward as God commanded. If instead, people focus on solutions that are well thought out, and do not make huge compromises that impact our economy, then the focus can be well received. Part of the issue with the environmentalist movement is the unrealistic economic expectations that come with it. An example of these expectations can be seen in the restrictive electrical plans. Environmentalist organizations want to spend a lot of money replacing or limiting many of the current power plants in service. In effect, the organizations hope to reduce air pollution created by these power plants.
