Global Warming Persuasive Essay

For many years we have been hearing about how the world was going to end if we do not clean up our acts and stop causing global warming. In reality, we actually are not harming the planet at all and it is all a hoax in order to help the government raise more money. They say with in an increase in CO2 and the earth’s temperature escalating we are doomed for the world to eventually go down in flames. On the contrary, the multiple unscholarly reports have been used as scare tactics when we actually have little to nothing to worry about. One of the biggest scams they try to pull off is the fact that CO2 is increasing. The government blames in on the human species. There is actually no proof that humans have increased CO2 production. (Redsliverj) They say that this represents all scientist, not just environmentalist. That percentage comes from a U.N. panel. It is in part with a government ran panel called the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). There were 4,000 scientist that were on the panel but not all of them reviewed the report. Some of the names on the consensus were also duplicated so if one took away the names duplicated than it is less than 2,900 scientist. (Redsliverj) Some of those scientist do not even have their PhD yet. One cannot accurately represent the whole scientific community with only around 4,000 people. It is not correct to say that almost every scientist believes in climate change. The scientist are supposed to be unbiased but many of the scientist that were in connection with the consensus are also closely connected with the World Wildlife Fund. (Redsliverj) The report is found on every day news channels but is not reviewed by scientist. It was an online survey with two questions. The first question being “When comparted with pre-1800 levels, do you think that mean global temperatures have generally risen, fallen, or remained relatively constant?” The second question was “Do you think human activity is a significant contributing factor in changing global temperatures?” They sent the survey out to 10,257 people and only 3,146 received the actual survey. (Redsliverj) Only 77 of those 3,146 scientist actually specialized in climate science. (Redsliverj) Of the 77 climate scientist, 75 agreed with number two, which is where they get their 97% consensus. (Redsliverj) They did not take the opinion of the other scientist that took the survey which makes the survey completely and totally biased. The consensus was rigid in order to favor the government in order to raise money for the politicians. They hid the actual final results of the research in order to cover up how unscholarly it was. Although some of the people on the panels are scientist, most of them are government officials who are known for wanting to raise money at any cost. Global warming was a scare tactic created by the government in order to enforce grants and programs that would give them money.
