It is very important that we do all we can to stop this global crisis before it gets any worse that it already is or there won't be any chance of success. In conclusion, humans are having a devastating effect on our environment. Ultimately, we all must agree that climate change is happening and it is very frustrating that some deny it. The evidence shows that global warming is real, and human caused. We are all going to be affected by it and it is in all of our best interests to work together to solve this problem.
Global warming is a war that we should not get involved with because we will lose if changes aren’t made soon. Global warming is the rapid increase in earth’s average surface temperature over the past century due to the fact that greenhouse gases are being released into the atmosphere increasing the earth’s average temperature (EarthObservatory.NASA.org). There are many contributing factors that play a role into the cause of global warming. Greenhouse gasses are gasses such as Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Nitrous Oxide, and F-gasses that trap heat in the atmosphere. The heat that is trapped in the earth’s atmosphere is a slowly melting glaciers, cause sea levels to rise and is messing with the weather patterns.
It is very difficult to reverse this process once it is started. If we want to live like we are now and have been we have to stop this process. Emissions of fossil fuels by humans is a big factor of global warming. The reason being is because of the amount of carbon dioxide released from the fossil fuels. Controlling these emissions is one huge step of many steps required to slow down and stop global warming.
This will have positive effects and reduce Global Warming. Global Warming is a very serious problem that?s happening now to our Earth. We should do something to prevent this and become more serious before it harms us later on. There have been signs of global warming and the record of highest temperature mostly occurred on the last few years. If everybody in the world starts to do something small, the effect will be big.
The gases are emitted mainly by cars, power plants, and other industrial sources that burn gasoline, coal, and other fossil fuels. Obviously, the emissions of these greenhouse gases in excess are leading to the planet’s consistent increase in temperature. For example, in a study conducted by the National Center for Atmospheric Research, it was confirmed that earth’s early century warming was caused by mostly solar and volcanic forcing, and the late century warming, from 1940-2000, was mostly caused by the increase of greenhouse gases. The National Resource Defense Council states, if global warming persists, there will be more air pollution and problems with water supplies as precipitation patterns change, as well as huge threats to ecosystems from the Everglades to the glaciers. Not only will there be hotter, longer heat waves and more intense storm systems, but also forests, farms and cities will face troublesome new pests and more mosquito-borne diseases.

There is a general worldwide consensus that there is climate change occurring, but many still claim it's not man made, but a natural earth cycle. While this may contain some truth, most believe that the causes of aerosol, fossil fuels, and the greenhouse effect are the reasons for global warming. These causes can easily be reduced if we take in the time and effort to halt the actions.
Global warming can harm the planet seriously and effect the way we live. Global warming is one of the most important issues in our modern world because of its danger to the planet. Warming the planet caused by human activities such as Industrial processes and transportation activities. Scientists have decided many solutions to solve this problem such as producing energy in clean ways and use less energy. Some of the clean ways to produce energy are solar power, wind power, and hydropower.
Some of the major contributors to global warming are green house gases, particulates and soot ,and solar activty. Thoughs are some major causes but there are still hundreds more left. The green house effect is the process by which absorption and emisson of in fared radiation by gases in a planets atmosphere warm its lower atmosphere and surface. It was proposed by joseph fourier in 1824 and discovered in 1860 by john tyndall. Human activity ever since the industrial revolution has increased the amount of greenhouse gases in the world.
The climate has been much hotter/colder in the past This argument suggests that because the climate has been more extreme in the past we shouldn't worry about it changing. It conveniently ignores the fact that if we reached either past climate extreme, much of our society and ecology would not survive. Climate change has been faster in the past Well it hasn't for the last 800,000 years. Ice core data shows that the fastest rate of CO2 increase over the last 800,000 years was 30 ppm in 1000 years.
