Global Climate Change is Man-made

Whether human beings are responsible for the global climate change has been debated for decades. The climate change is the long-term change of weather in decades to millions of years. Some people argued that the global climate change is part of the natural climate cycle of the Earth or is caused by the radiation and heat from the sun. However, United Nations has claimed that “Human influence has been detected in warming of the atmosphere and the ocean, in changes in the global water cycle, in reductions in snow and ice, in global mean sea level rise, and in changes in some climate extremes” (United Nations News Centre).
Many lines of evidence indicated that the global climate has been changed. New highest temperatures have been recorded during the summer in the past few decades worldwide; while, the lowest temperature records have been repeatedly updated during the winter. At the beginning of 2014, the northeastern United States was suffered from severe snowstorm; New York City had a foot of snow and New England had about 18 inches (Guariglia). Meanwhile, the entire northern hemisphere, including Europe and Japan, was also stuck by deadly snowstorms (“Europe Battens down Hatches”). In addition, the frequency and intensity of hurricanes increase recently. One of most deadly and destructive Atlantic tropical cyclone is Hurricane Katrina that swiped New Orleans (Knabb, Rhome, and Brown 1-2). Furthermore, 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, also known as Great East Japan Earthquake, happened on March 11, 2011 in Japan. The biggest disaster caused by this earthquake was the catastrophic failure at Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant, resulting in that radioactive materials have been released into the Pacific Ocean (Oskin). It has been wid...

...years ago than today while there was a natural cycle between ice ages and warmer interglacial periods. The only explanation that the temperature can have become lower on Earth is greenhouse effect from CO2, without the greenhouse effect there will not be an enormous change (“A Natural Climate Cycle”).
Global climate change had a serious impact on all living creature on Earth. Many lines of evidence suggests that human activities are the principal causes for global warming, such as burning fuels and cutting down forest, and those destructive activities to the Earth are still continuing to grow. There is only one Earth; once it is destroyed, then most likely all living creature on Earth will die. Therefore, people should ride less and use more public transportation; factories should reduce emissions to the way they live, which can become a huge change in the future.
