In this essay I will discuss the social, economic and political reasons of the negative and positive impacts of Mexican migration on the USA and Mexico. In this case, the source country, is Mexico and the host country is America. The US has a long history of immigration. Since the 1850s till now many Mexicans have illegally crossed the US border by swimming across the Rio Grande ,attempting to cross the Arizona desert or hiding in coaches in desperate search of, the major push factor, the American dream. The American dream can be summed up as an opportunity to become wealthier and the ability to achieve everything. Furthermore the US has been described as ‘the land of opportunity’ as in 2010 ,340 out of 100,000 adults launched a new business each month. USA Paragraph 2-Positive
A positive social impact is that in the regions where immigrants have settled in the past two decades, crime has gone down, cities have grown, poor urban neighborhoods have been rebuilt, and small towns that were once on life support, are springing back. Which is creating three optimistic developments.
Another positive social, economical and political factor is that many migrants are taking ‘’blue-collar’’ and ’’pink-collar’’ jobs that Americans citizen don't want to and because ’blue-collar’’ and ’’pink-collar’’ jobs consist of lower wages, it is much more reasonable for the American government.
