Nuclear technology is one of the greatest invention all over the world. It has been used in different way. As nuclear weapons are depended on the explosion and radiation afterwards to cause the major damage, so in military aspect, nuclear weapons are used by different countries as a strong tools to invalid or defense. There will be a question, how is nuclear weapons help in national defense? Besides as a defense tools, nuclear weapons can be used to get advantage for a nation. How does an offensive weapons has that much non-military usage? This will be showed in this research paper.
First of all, let see where is the powerful power of nuclear weapons come from, this has to be due with the structure of a nuclear weapon. nuclear weapons can be divided to be two different kinds, one based on fission(atomic bomb) and one based on fusion(hydrogen bomb). According to a famous equation E=mc2 in the Theory of Relativity by Albert Einstein, he claimed every matter can be converted into energy form, which is the basic concept of the nuclear weapons nowadays.A hydrogen bomb, it is using a skill called fusion, which is mainly about gather up atoms and convert them into energy, by this method even a small amount of matter can lead to a serious destruction. The best example of fusion will be the bomb dropped in Hiroshima, the hydrogen bomb used was only containing 600 mg of uranium. (“The process of how to build an Atomic bomb” The UnMuseum)
To understand why nuclear weapons have such a big effect in military aspects, the concern of using them should also be known. Nuclear technology can lead to a huge damage, it has been showed by the explosion of nuclear weapons in war and a few accidents in nuclear plants. But how “huge” is the ...
