I chose India to provide a data. I would like to discus about male and female work opportunities, education differences, supports, and in politics. I am expecting to provide the negative and positive things about male and female difference in my native country. I choose this statistics because they matter in our daily life. The statistics I have chosen for my assignment will build an interest in reader to read my assignment. The family and society at large consider women as second class citizens. The male centered is taken for granted that the center of attention is the natural place for men and boys, and that women should occupy the margins. The male identified aspects of society and personal attributes that are highly valued are associated with men, while devalued attributes and social activates are associated with women. Also there is a sense of threat to the social structure of patriarchies when this gendered association is destabilized and the response in patriarchy is to increase the level of control, often by exerting control over women. The male dominated which does not mean that all men are powerful or all women are powerless. Only that the most powerful roles inmost sectors of society are held predominantly by men, and the least powerful roles are held predominantly by women. Lastly the organized around an obsession with control, with men elevated in the social structure because of their presumed ability to exert control and when devalued for their supposed lack of control women are assumed to need men’s supervision, protection, or control. India had patriarchal rules and it is being followed in few regions in the present time but it is being eliminated in many regions as more and more women are getting into power. Women life was miserable in India back in decades because the Marriages were arranged for women by their parents, with a formal contract being drawn up.
