There are people who would argue that there is nothing wrong with gay marriages. They would further argue and believe is that gays should have the same rights as a heterosexual marriage. There are some stereotypes and issues that gay couple faces some are: What makes them different from any other marriage, why (in some states that gay marriage is supported) their spouses do not have the same rights as those with a heterosexual marriage, and why society frown upon this issue. Over the years people have come to accept that there is not anything wrong with gay marriages. But there are some people who fight the idea that it should be legal.
Gay marriage should be legal worldwide. Gay marriage or same-sex marriage is when a man and man or women and a woman get married. Same-sex marriage impacts society in different types of ways, some people are affected by it because they think it is against the bible, others seem to have no impact or problem with same-sex marriage. However for the gay community it affects them, because in some states they are not allowed to marry the one they are in love with it. Also it impacts them because there are groups of people against same-sex marriage and the gay community is constantly being judged by people opposed to same-sex marriage.
Not only is gay marriage wrong, it is not appealing to the eye. Watching gay couples walk around is not a good sight to see. Although society thinks same sex marriage is fair, it is actually immoral and completely wrong. Same sex marriage is not an actual marriage. It is not actual marriage because
Opponents believe that marriage should be restricted to only couples of the opposite sex, being that marriage is a privilege and not a right. Not even having to do with marriage, in some places, religious associations or not, a business can refuse to employ or service to a same sex couple. All of this is discrimination. It 's sad to think that they can actually be refused employment at the same time refused service. Same sex marriage advocates appeal natural law wanting to remove the judgment they receive.
That is unethical and completely awful. There 's no harm being done by letting two people who are in love with each other get married. However, many religious fundamentalists are against this and believe gay marriage is wrong and needs to be stopped. Homosexual couples should have the right to get married because it 's a civil right and their sexual preference doesn 't make them any less human. For many
Homosexual Marriage should not be Legalized Over time, marriage has been the solid base for procreation and child rearing, which is the foundation of family and social life. There is recognition that allowing polygamous or closely related couples into our marriage system would be dysfunctional in our society. Does this not apply to same-sex marriage as well? The social unacceptability of same-sex marriage, the danger of contracting AIDS, and the bad influence on children prove that same-sex marriage should not be legalized. Homosexual activists, approximately three percent of our population, argue that those who do not agree with them are "homophobic" or "heterosexist."
Gay marriages are unacceptable in my opinion because it goes against God’s words. God’s word is the truth and no one can change it. Allowing gay marriage also puts churches at risk, because if pastors allow same sex marriage it makes them go against God’s word as well. Homosexuality is a sin and it is unacceptable to force gay marriage on people who do not believe in it. It is also an unnatural act because God created Adam and Eve, not Eve and Eve nor Adam and Steve.
Homosexual Indifference The times seem to be changing in acceptance of homosexual relationships for the better, but many laws as well as society still prohibit gay marriage and adoption. There are two sources which I will use to show different view points on gay marriage and adoption. The first is an article written by Andrew Sullivan, titled “Let Gays Marry.” This is written as an informal piece to argue that gay people should be allowed to marry one another. The next is also on gay marriage, but in this article, “Leave Marriage Alone,” author William Bennett writes that it is wrong for gays to marry. These two authors show separate feelings on the issue of gay marriage, while attempting to persuade the readers to agree with them.
Gay marriage is one of the most controversial issues in the modern world, although in recent years, it has become more accepted and has been legalised in some parts of the world. Some people argue that homosexual couples shouldn't be allowed to marry because they can't have children but if that was the only reason they couldn't marry then some heterosexual couples who are infertile wouldn't be able to marry either. Also, if gay marriage was legalised everywhere, there would be more successful adoptions because homosexual couples aren't able to have children, they would adopt to compensate. Marriage benefits like joint ownership and medical decision making capacity should be available to every couple. Marriage affects many things in society such as joint ownership of property, insurance benefits, agency law and it can affect critical medical decisions.
He also presents a variety of shaky arguments with the general point that gay marriage does not and can’t have “the authority and majesty of the kinship system”(383). Since he sees gay marriage as entirely rooted in the relationship between two people, and he dismisses that as a minor part of the institution of marriage, he predicts this kind of marriage will disappear and will only be remembered with a laugh. This paper does not consider for a second that any marriage apart from one that fulfills these principles can be satisfying. There is a very strong implication that this is the proper form of marriage, and anything else is some sort of uninspiring deviancy. This is almost completely unsupported.
