There was so many stuff my my first project that I had to cut off or even add and keep. I will have to say I did minor changes to my final submission just the fact that I was carrying out a story, with the different talents I have in the industry. What impressed me from my peers portfolio, will have to be that everyone had a story to share in their own way, that it identified them has humans in this earth. The best part was that we all love the media aspect , but we all have a different way to showcase it. The skills I will like to soon add to my portfolio in the up coming month at Full Sail will have to be more of my talent in front of the camera actually hosting, and being able to showcase my actual talent in what I love doing.
Finally, leadership, my most valuable skill. Leadership is useful in any career and any situation. In band, I've used it a lot. Now that I'm going into the real world and my career, I know I will use it even more. My leadership has rewarded me personally. I feel like I have already made a difference in the lives of my peers. Leadership can get me anywhere in life and I expect that this alone could get me all the way to my college graduation. These skills in combination will keep me on top, and hopefully at the top of my college
I realize how important research and the creation of multiple comprehensives for a project this big. Through those comprehensives I was able to generate new ideas that would later unify the collateral. In terms of success I think I became more proficient with the production side of the project. It think I could have worked more on the project itself and create a better meaning behind it. I feel that with the collateral I was more focused how to get people interested an dhow to grab their attention. On the other this project also showed me how important time management is. I learned that when I have creative blocks on one of the projects I could jump on the other and work on that. This helped me in getting all the work done and also helped me in generating new ideas for the
My sixteen week class in English 111. I was really nervous about this class. Because English has never been my strong point. This class has hard, but fun all at the same time. I learn a lot from this class. Meanwhile, the first day of class you handed a paper with a question on it. “The first thing I want to say to you who are students is that you must not think of being here to receive an education; instead, you will do much better to think of being here to claim one.” Even though putting my all in what I have learned, claiming my education with hard work because using the skills of the meal plan, as we write to different audiences and learning to be a Critically thinker as I start becoming a critically-Literate Citizenship.
These individuals usually work long hours. When seeking a position, an impressive portfolio is a must, especially in this industry. It's suggested that you have pictures or photographs of your best work. Having this shows the potential employer a glimpse of your personal style and abilities.
My best asset when communicating would be my ability to empathize with other people. I am very good at putting myself in others shoes and I think that makes me a better communicator. People appreciate when you feel for them, and feel cared
OT professionals, I realized this is a field that encourages creativity, empowers individuals, and values of
Throughout this class, there were many social issues and whom they affect discussed. I loved this class for the reason of getting myself more familiar with what is happening around me and around everyone else in the world. This class was an eye opener to major social issues that people are faced with so in this paper, I am going to talk about the seven objectives we were supposed to obtain from this class.
Half the Sky helped contribute to my understanding of "First World privilege" a lot by not only hearing about these poverty stricken, man dominant developing nations, but also showing it. Seeing it brings a whole new view to sexism, racism, and discrimination, especially with being sold into sex slavery and woman not even being allowed to have a life saving treatment unless the men give their consent. In America, every person can at least go into a hospital and get treatment needed to save their lives, in other countries they can die just because a man doesn't give his consent to save her life. This documentary shows the little things we take for granted because truthfully we do not even realize how truly horrific it is out there in the
Another strength that I have is being an active listener. I listened to my clients and utilized a lot of micro skills. Insuring confidentiality was also a strength that I developed closer to the end of field placement. Conducting assessments and making sure I tracked and exhausted the topics was also a strength that I identified throughout field. Practicing from a strengths perspective was also another area I excelled at when working with my clients. A skill that I could work on is being more conscious of self in terms of body language during interviews, because at times I find myself with my arms cross which may give an indication that I’m closed off or
The most salient modification was trimming the use of figurative language; its use brings visual framework to the piece however overdoing it resulted in an awkward read. The changes I have made were a result of feedback I had attained from my friends, family and potential audiences who read my first drafts and gave me their honest opinions regarding it. I consider the changes I have made prior to completion have certainly improved the final
I am excellent in the first student learning outcome in my portfolio because I include a very well thought out
Upon reflection, I believe with utter sincerity that I chose the right project for me. The main reason is because it deals with the importance of nature and its preservation. Also, I knew that I wanted to work on a project that could potentially change a person’s outlook on my topic, and I believe that I may have done just that. This project has helped me connect with members of my community that I otherwise would not have, and that is priceless.
My flexibility is certainly one of my greatest strengths. I can easily move between different working styles, depending on the scenario. I have no problem trying a new idea or concept out before deciding on a final direction. I am continually exploring different options. Being a “people-person” is one of my other strengths. My excellent interpersonal skills allow for me to bring ideas, thoughts and people together. I generate enthusiasm and excitement into tasks. I feel comfortable and confident talking to others about anything that I have knowledge of.
I can apply experience and personal skills gained in a variety of working and personal environments.
The first strength I would bring to the event planning industry is my ability to budget and manage money. With my personal finances, I am very strict about my spending habits, and I am constantly trying to find ways to save money. For example, I spent hours this past weekend researching the best deals on kitchen supplies for my house next fall. I made a spreadsheet of all of my options that fit the perfect balance between price and quality along with dozens of promo codes that could apply, and it quite literally paid off. My ability to organize and manage my own money as well as to save money would be beneficial in the event planning industry. I would be able to offer my clients various options based on a wide variety of different budgets. Prioritizing is key; it is important to determine which areas would be most
