A frieze is a long narrow band of art that runs along the mold of a Greek temple or another building. The Ionic order is one of three classical orders of architecture in Ancient Greece. The other two were Doric and Corinthian. Workers were hired to make the metal fittings used to reinforcing the stone blocks and to fashion the necessary items for sculpture scenes on the frieze, metopes, and pediments. Windows in the temples were rare. The designed frieze above the columns have stone groups that turn with plain or carved board due to the columns of the frieze.

The Parthenon temple in the Acropolis of Athens is painted in a style that looks similar to the original at the Acropolis. A porch can be added for each end of the temple. There's double rows of the column forming to the porch from “The Parthenon Temple”.

The Parthenon temple had columns that were thinner and more stylish. The Parthenon temple was built in Acropolis Athens in the 447-432 B.C.E. Roman temples did have the same designs as Greek temples. One famous frieze is the Parthenon which is in Ancient, Greece. Usually the Greek and Roman temples had either a frieze or triglyphs, a tablet in the Doric frieze with three vertical grooves and metopes, or a square space between triglyphs in a Doric temple.
The Parthenon frieze contains carvings only in the metopes, and in front of the sides that immediately connect each other. The most famous of decorative friezes is definitely carved on top of the outer wall of the cella of the Parthenon, just under the ceiling of the patio.
