In the book Crash a boy named Crash has friend problems. He struggles with popularity and needs help to find a new friend. My first theme is friendship in the book Crash. Crash is a quarterback and he struggles with popularity. He has friends but they don’t know the real him. When Crash met his friend at first he didn't say anything. They just got in a fight to get to know each other. The fight was not physical but it was still a fight. It was raining but even though he was benched he still cheered Crash on. Crash didn't think he could beat the other team especially without his friend but his friend was still there. He didn't just get up and leave the field he sat and supported him. Crash was happy his friend was there even when crash had lost so many games. He stayed and Crash played hard but he just kept failing and he thought he couldn't beat them because as they were winning Crash was stuck at 0. Crash thought he couldn't make it, it only took one more goal and they would win but then he heard his friend cheer him on and he got the strength to get up and he ran and started scoring goals.
