BOOK ESSAY 2 Books:crash compound BY FLAVIO.ANGELILLO Have you ever wanted a friend to stand up for you or a person that would stick with you no matter what? Well, I have just the 2 books for you. In the book Crash a boy named Crash has friend problems. He struggles with popularity and needs help to find a new friend. If you ever have a gut feeling and you don't know whether to trust it or not, read Compound, a girl named Eli has a gut feeling something is wrong so she tries to find out what's wrong and no matter what stands in her way she never gives up no matter what. My first theme is friendship in the book Crash. Crash is a quarterback and he struggles with popularity. He has friends but they don’t know the real him. When Crash met his friend at first he didn't say anything. They just got in a fight to get to know each other. The fight was not physical but it was still a fight. It was raining but even though he was benched he still cheered Crash on. Crash didn't think he could beat the other team especially without his friend but his friend was still there. He didn't just get up and leave the field he sat and supported him. Crash was happy his friend was there even when crash had lost so many games. He stayed and Crash played hard but he just kept failing and he thought he couldn't beat them because as they were winning Crash was stuck at 0. Crash thought he couldn't make it, it only took one more goal and they would win but then he heard his friend cheer him on and he got the strength to get up and he ran and started scoring goals. He didn't give up, his friend was cheering for him goal after goal. He gained more courage and at the end he won his final goal, winning the
