Freedom can be seen as a farfetched goal to many depending on its definition. Freedom itself is a term that has many definitions depending on its context, from creativity, discovery, or finding an independent path. The broadest term from the concept of freedom is the contrast between submissiveness and independence. Regarding humans, the feeling of independence and escaping a controlled environment is motivation enough. However, many undermine the negative qualities people reap from a lifestyle of solitude and ignoring the positive elements of a unified community. Children already have an intrinsic motivation to learn during elementary. This kind of motivation, however, wanes during teenage years (Collier, 2015). Placing or thwarting the supportive seeds from an autonomous standpoint early in childhood can have a huge effect on whether or not a child searches for its psychological need, and how they’ll react towards feedback. Children who received praise for their actions become competent to face challenges, in contrast to those praised for their innate abilities rather than their voluntary actions received a fixed mindset that refuses to grow from their mistakes (Collier, 2015). The achievement of a positive free lifestyle is only granted by the self when nutritional needs are satisfied and outside connections are established, or rather, a network of connections that are established. Autotomy support produces the effects of all three needs by giving the provider the insight of what elements they need for relatedness and competence by taking the perspective of others (Deci, Ryan, & Guay, 2013). A positive relationship that graduates from professional to personal between a teacher and student not only strengthens the engagement in school activity for the child, but also provides the instructor the necessary tools to use for future lectures and relationship building(Collier, 2015). Because Autonomous nutrition is mandatory for building psychological qualities, humans must work together in order to better the world that they’re a part of. By giving children this kind of identified motivation from early years, a network of autonomous relatedness can give the same kind of influence to younger generations from the older ones.
