What do you think the world would be like today without Franklin Roosevelt. If it wasn't for Franklin Roosevelt we would have a very bad economy, there would be lots of dead soldiers from the war, and the world would still be in the depression. What lead him to do that is he saw that the republicans were being blamed for all of this and he saw that as an opportunity to make them look bad and make him look like a hero. Another reason that he did that is because he wanted to follow in his idols Theodore Roosevelt's footsteps. the last reason he did all of this is because he wanted to see a great change in the corrupt government. Franklin D Roosevelt sets a heroic example because he led America through one of the country's roughest times, the great depression. One of the other reasons that Franklin D Roosevelt is a hero is he expanded the powers of the government, in other words he made the government better for the American citizens. Franklin helped the U.S recover their economy(britannica.com). This shows that he was a hero by helping the U.S build their economy back up. Something els is Franklin helped the U.S with is world war 2 because he was one of the main reasons we survived the war(www.whitehouse.). This proves that he helped the U.S because if it wasn't for him we might not have survived world war 2.
