When taking an adventure into the woods you would think that the major thought in your head would be to make sure you are well prepared and obtained the skills required to live off the land so you can survive the journey you are planning. When Chris McCandless set out into the woods with the little equipment he had on him and expected to survive on next to nothing, I am very surprised with his amount of schooling and education that he never realized or tried to learn more hunting, health/wilderness survival and agriculture so that it would better his chances for living. Chris McCandless hard headed mindset could have been reduced in order to help his survival percentage, when people would pick him up and offer to purchase tools or teach him a skill he would refuse and reject the offer instead of accepting and having those tools to help him out.

For one thing, Chris McCandless starts his journey without telling anyone where he is going and in my opinion that is the most stupid thing a person can do think about you safety and your life if something happens your all by yourself alone,...
