1. Yes, the room is broken off into sections during free time and in each section is a teacher. One section is the block area, its the most low key area during free play, the teacher sat on the floor with the children and would build for a little bit and then stop look around at the kids watching them build towers and houses. She would talk a little about what they we're making and than continue building. She did this a couple times during free play. Another area is the craft area. There are 3 tables each with a different craft on it, today the kids got to choose between making cookies, painting, and cutting. At each table there was a teacher, not onlt was the teacher able to over see her table but also the other 3 tables in case another teacher needed help. The teacher making the cookies was participating in the cookie making and baking while another teacher stood just behind the table observing the kids, noticing if any of them needed assistance. This teacher would also walk towards the other craft tables seeing how the kids we're doing with cuting and than go over to the painting and talk to the kids about painting. After she did her rounds to each table she would stand back and watch for a ten mineuts and than start her rounds all over again. I noticed how she was very attentive to what was going on in each area not only with the kids but the other teachers as well. If another teacher needed help she was aware of it and right by their side in no time ready to help with the situation.

...ldren and then step back and observe for a little bit and than go back to interacting. I would want to be able to see the children and hear them but not be in the way of a distraction for them. I also think it helps to know the children your observing because than your not this new distraction for them to play with and talk to but instead you get to see them being themselves and learning. Observing it impoartant because it lets you watch the children grow and develop and it helps you as a teacher see what aspects the children need help in and what they are excelling at. Also as a teacher observing it gives you a sense of ackomplishment watching the children you teach developing. As a teacher observation also help the teacher see what technics are working for teaching the kids are what technecs might need to be changed to help the children learn and understand better.
