Pound-for-pound great Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26 KOs) easily dispatched the challenge of former two-time welterweight champion Andre Berto (30-4, 23 KOs) in another lackluster 12-round unanimous decision victory at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Mayweather, who predictably won the match in all scorecards, 120-108, 118-110, and 117-111, told reporters afterward that he is officially out of the sport and that he will not miss a thing about it.

“There’s nothing else for me to do in the sport of boxing. I made great investments, I’m financially stable, well off. I had a great career. My record speaks for itself,” Mayweather said.

MGM officials are said to be eyeing Mayweather to kick off activities in the new stadium when it opens in
