I wonder why you have to make your bed. Making your bed is meaningless and unconnected to being successful in life. Successful people are not necessarily those who made their beds, or the most intelligent people, they are those who just didn’t accept defeat when they were knocked down. I wonder if making your bed is a sure path to being successful. If this is not, then don’t make your bed. Then making your bed would be a waste of useful time that could have been spent on something more productive and result oriented.
I’m surprised by the fact that the taller and more promising looking boat crew did not always have the final say on the runs and the swims. I am surprised that the best boat crew was made up of little guys that did not measure up to the others in terms of height and stature. I am surprised that irrespective of their cultural diversity, the five Munchkin boat crew members were more successful. I am even more surprised that they out ran the taller guys irrespective of their height. I am surprised that we can change the lives of 800 million people, from an initial interaction with only 10,000 people.
