The two main characters in the movie “Finding Forrester” is depicted as two opposite pictures, one is a high educated, professional writer and other is “a basketball player from the Bronx” as stated by Robert Crawford. These two people seem to be not related but a chance encounter brought them together as well as the passion for writing they have in common. The first impression of William Forrester is a talented and wise but also picky and rude old man, living isolated from the society. While Jamal Wallace is from an African-American society, young and well-known for good at sport instead of academic activity.
