Final Course Reflection Reflecting back on my short time here at Iowa State I have met many new people, learned a great deal about the campus, myself, and the Agricultural Business program. In college I have experienced many firsts. I moved away from home for the first time. I started my first day of college classes, and survived my first round of college exams. I joined clubs, met lots of new individuals, and got acquainted with life at Iowa State. Throughout my time at Iowa State I was lucky enough to be part of a great major that focuses on welcoming freshman. I have attended monthly meetings and learned how one becomes a member, officer, and gets on a committee. I also met many new people at these meetings and enjoy getting to know new individuals. As I continue my education at Iowa State I feel prepared and know what classes I plan on taking each semester thanks to my four year plan. Without this assignment I would’ve been lost and not known what classes to take. Completing my four year plan helped me prepare myself for the future and know exactly what classes I need to take before graduating. One of my favorite activities in Econ 110 was attending the apple orchard. It was a great way to get away for awhile and have fun with my friends. We got to tour the orchard and enjoy some delicious treats, as well as have fun wondering around and trying new things. I didn’t really know what to expect beforehand, but it was definitely not let down. Another great experience was visiting another major for a day. During this time I was able to visit another department in which I’m interested in and I also got to see how lucky I am to be part of a great major. During this time, I visited the Agronomy department and learned more about their program and everything it has to
