The Matrix is a narrative film by The Wachowski Brothers ,in 1999 is the groundbreaking visual effects film that tells the story of Neo, the hacker turned the One, in this a hero’s story. It is told in a chronological order from Neo’s point of view from the moment he wakes up to the moment he realizes that he is the One and the power it grants him. The film is best known for it use of bullet time and it commentary on perspective of our world and how real is it truly.

This film takes advantage of lots of short quick cuts in all of the action scene to keep the audience 's attention. The most used shot the tight shot to show character reactions and thought and decisions help convey a characters thoughts without having to state it outright. Most of the images on film are open, setting up the next shot for the camera to move next. They also use pan shots to show entrances and changes in location and create the illusion of motion in Matrix with it. While in the Matrix there is always some semblance of digital or electronic sound helping us to reinforce how unreal the world is. The music used in this film is techno throughout creating the digital sound for that cyberpunk music style. It also follows the Pace of the movie quite nicely quick and high paced. However, the sound effect in this movie play a bigger role as it is most predominant use of sound through this film. The best example of audio in this film is the opening shot with the green text scrolling vertically up and down the dinging sounds that were played with the text are still the sound most people associate with digital 1’s and
