Introduction
Throughout my essay I plan to explain the location of my field experience and how it relates to education phycology. I learned and witness many new things in education as I was able to volunteer my time in going to World Language Academy. While achieving my 20 hours of experience I was in awe of the students and teachers are this school and how they taught, disciplined, and how they created a fun and enjoyable environment for the students.

Field Experience Site: World Language Academy
My choice for my field experience was World Language Academy. However due to the fact that it was summer vacation I was not able to sit in an actual classroom in the school but got to experience their immense World Language camp. In this camp, the students get to learn in multiple classroom Chinese, Spanish, and Portuguese. Most students in the camp can fluently understand and speak Spanish and Chinese. All the Hispanic teachers spoke Spanish the kids and they all understood and acknowledged that they understood and will do as they said. Same goes for the Chinese speaking teachers they explain in Chinese or give the directions and they understand and do as followed. From my readings, it is made know that bilingual students are more likely to “develop executive functions- higher order cognitive processes responsible for goal-directed behavior” (Kaushanskaya, 2014). Having students that become bilingual at such young age can affect their cognitive behavior and thinking. It also creates for the student an understanding of the diverse world we live in and an acceptance of all the different people and languages around and creates for them a very helpful
