Cats in households are usually free-roaming cats; they experience hazardous encounters outdoors, which cause stress levels to peak. It is also hypothesised that cats within a multi-cat household are more stressed, because they have nowhere to hide or run when spatial dispersion is unavailable. When a cat is overly stressed out, the cat can exhibit behaviours which include, vomiting, diarrhea, anorexia, and fever. Cats can also recognise the voices of their owners, which relates back to the 10,000-year history humans have with cats. This essay examines behavioral issues that cats exhibit in shelters and households.
When we finally moved, the whole family was too attached to these kittens to out them outside and subject them to the dangerous world. Therefore, we became a household with five cats. To this day, we are still reaping the consequences of that choice. Occasionally, there is an article in the newspaper about a house where the people have many cats and do not care for them. The cats are allowed to take over the home and a severe mess results.
As cats, they only need a small place to take a rest. For evidence, I used to make a big and warm cat house for my cat Lucy. Nevertheless, Lucy does not even stay in her house for more than 3 minutes. She would rather live in a small box or on window sills than stay in the cat house. By contrast, my dog Max likes to sleep on the floor or on the bed.
When she first brought him home, she wasn’t sure whether it was a he or she. Her witty neighbour, Mrs S even searched on the internet, and asserted it was she, only later to find out how erroneous she was. The internet is not a good place to find the gender of a cat. Anyway, Mrs. R cleansed and christened him Puss like most other cats. Kittens would play with anything: ball of wool, a piece of paper, empty can, little insects, etc.
A group of cats is called a “clowder” and a group of kittens is called a “kindle”. Cats are known to appease stress in their owners, and their owners are prone to live longer, have lower blood sugar, and fewer heart attacks. Most cats are known for their rather elusive behaviour. Similarly, if people do not spay their cats it will eventually lead to severe overpopulation, which would leave us outnumbered. We would be left to comply with the environment created by stray cats. 1. All the dirty, mangy, diseased stray cats living in our neighborhoods, were probably once cute little kittens someone did not want to take the responsibility for, just by spaying their cat. 2.

Some of these breeding traits have altered the natural capabilities of the cat to be able to hunt and survive in the wild. Cats that are bred to be hairless, if exposed to the elements would not be able to survive long at all outdoors.

"A dog is man's best friend." That common saying may contain some truth, but dogs are not the only animal friend whose companionship people enjoy. For many people, a cat is their best friend. Despite what dog lovers may believe, cats make excellent housepets. In the first place, people enjoy the companionship of cats.
