Often times when people hear the word “feminism” they tend to rely on society’s misconstrued definition of what feminism is, the belief of dictatorship, anti-male attitude and female superiority. This misinterpreted definition of feminism is actually completely opposite of what feminism truly is, feminism is defined as “the advocacy of women 's rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men.” Feminism is essentially equality between the sexes, where neither men nor women are superior to the other.
