Sarah Faulkner and Abigail Claesson spent the week of February 13th paging at the Roundhouse in Santa Fe. Working under Representative Dow, Faulkner and Claesson had the opportunity to meet their state’s government officials, experience the dynamic capital, and become intimate with the law making process. The girls had the opportunity to interact with many of the legislators, discussing House Bills, and sharing perspectives. By talking one-on-one with representatives, the young women realized how down-to-earth the state reps are. Many of them are school administrators, farmers, or small business owners, advocating for the wellbeing of their constituents and state.
