Fast Food. Is it really the problem?

It isn't unfamiliar that obesity is a problem in the United States. Fast food is said to be a

major cause of this predicament, but is there a point where it's not the food's fault but the person

who is choosing to eat it? People who have problems with obesity and blame fast food don't

realize there are so many other attributes that are put into play and that fast food can't possibly be

the only reason of it all. Obesity can be influenced by lack of exercise, the surrounding

environment, genes, health conditions, cruel kindness, and diet. Fast food should stop being

blamed for a vast amount of obesity in the U.S. Fast food is one of the influences of obesity, but there is a point where the person can take control of their eating habits themselves and stop

blaming other culprits.

The definition of “Obesity is a condition characterized by the excessive accumulation and

storage of fat in the body.”(Obesity - Definition and More from the Free Merriam-Webster

Dictionary) Obesity is too commonly seen here in the states and many Americans are

experiencing health deficiencies and diseases that come with it. "Two-thirds of U.S. adults are

overweight or obese" (Flegal et al., 2012). “Obesity puts stress on every part of your body and

Today, in cities the hustle and bustle of everyday life gets in the way of people's diets.

They grab the cheapest and quickest alternative to satisfy their needs without recognizing the

long term dangers. The environment can take control of our diets and the way we balance it with
