Introduction
This report is based on the interviews conducted on a family. The case is about one of our family friends and I am maintaining a regular contact with the client and his family. Initially the interview was conducted with the client’s son, and when I came to know little about the issues of his father, and later interviewed the client, his father, and gathered the information regarding the issues between his siblings and mother. Whenever there was a life changing event, the family got together and contributed to the solution. The son feels that sometimes, his father (The client) comes up with very extreme solutions for the issues. Whenever there is a life event, the family members help each other to come out of it. All in all, the family shows a good resilience against the problems.
Impression
When we look on the Family Of Origin of the client’s family, there is a possibility to carry over the emotional feelings there they have to the next generation. But, as the wife’s parents are more closed to them, there is again another chance to take over the emotional feelings of her Family Of Origin. If we reflect all the aspects of this family’s working, it can be said that this one is fairly a functional family where people rely on in communicating, where everybody has a say in the decision making and problems are solved together. Both the parents share their tasks as much as they can but end up fighting about it at times. So, overall, it is a family where everyone is treated with respect and their due
