The most important quality of a married couple is love. Attitudes and responsibilities are some important factors for the development of a good marriage. Building a happy marriage is the result of conscious effort on the part of a husband and wife. A lifelong union, that people bound together by a bond of love, which is spiritual as well as physical, can be considered marriage. Marriage is socially recognized and approved union between individuals, who give to one another with the expectation of a secure and lasting personal relationship. It begins with a ceremony known as a wedding, which formally unites the marriage partners. A marital relationship usually involves some kind of agreement. Marriage is commonly defined as an organization between two members of opposite sex known as husband and wife. The usual roles and responsibilities of the husband and wife take at home living together, having sexual relations only with one another, sharing economic resources, and being recognized as the parents of their children. However, unusual forms of marriage that do not include these elements do exist. Committed relationships between homosexuals (individuals with a sexual orientation toward people of the same sex) also challenge conventional definitions of marriage. On the other hand, marriage involves an emotional and sexual relationship between particular human beings. At the same time, marriage is an institution that transcends the particular individuals involved in it and unites two families. In some cultures, marriage connects two families in a complicated set of property exchanges involving land, labor, and other resources. The extended family and society also share an interest in any children the couple may have. Also, the legal and religious definitions of marriage and the laws that surround, it usually represents the symbolic expression of center cultural norms and values.
A marriage depends on emotional maturity that means that it needs the sense of responsibility, self-confident, and in others. “The following trends might be factors contributing to marital maladjustments: lack of preparation, emphasis on romanticism, lack of family pride, rapid social changes, hurried and careless marriages, lack of religious influence, false views regarding marriage failures, extremes of wealth and poverty the impact of mass media” (Penetar 13). ... please and is ready to be pleased. They should work together as a team and not do anything to harm the unity of marriage which is necessary for a healthy, secure and happy family life. Always remember that a person is going to be living besides the same person all their life until death. Another point that people have to take in consideration is that God made humans (woman and man) to procreate, not to have pleasure. That’s why I am not in the side of same-sex unions because that’s not the way God wanted us to be. It is very important that a person choose the perfect couple to married because he or she has to have in consideration that both of them are going to be living together all their life’s and have to get used to the other persons attitudes and type of life to survive a marriage. There are two different meanings to the word love, the essential or central point of all marriages. One of the meanings of love is a passionate feeling of romantic desire and sexual attraction between people and the other one is God’s love for humanity: the mercy, grace, and charity shown by God to humanity. For a good marriage it is clearly to see the word love between couples and God.
After World War I America became the world’s center for trade. The economic center of the world moved from London, England to New York City, New York, United States of America, and more specifically Wall Street (Buhle, Mari J, Czitzrom, Armitage 848). Due to women, the 1920’s marked economic and social change in America. Women took over men’s jobs during the war while their husbands were overseas, and once the men came home the women wanted to keep their positions. To show gratitude to these women Congress passed the 19th Amendment on August 18th, 1920 which prohibited any United States citizen from having the right to vote based on sex. This change in women’s social status led to more workers in the factories, which were usi...
Steinberg, Laurence. ¨Should Juvenile Offenders Be Tried As Adults?¨ USA Today Magazine 129 Issue 2668. Jan 2001 p.34. EBSCOhost.
Juveniles should not be tried as an adult because they lack maturity and they are not psychologically developed. The juvenile justice system is putting youth at a high risk of not doing anything for themselves. If they lack maturity, they should not be in an adult prison. If they are not psychologically developed, they should not be in an adult prison because they are still young. Youth that is being charged as an adult, are more likely to commit more crime, than someone who is in a juvenile detention. More than likely, juveniles will end up in gang and other crime activities because that was all they was taught in the adult prison.
Juveniles should not be tried as adults. To begin with, Teenagers are not fully matured yet compared to an adult. First of all, Their brains have not fully developed yet and it not fully matured in their teen years. Scientist have found that the part of the brain that guides impulse control and weights risk versus reward are not fully mature. Research has also shown that a person's action at 13 or 14 are poor indication of the kind of adult that they will become. The decisions that they make when they are young and a teenager are not the same decisions that they would make if they were an adult. When they become an adult they make better decisions because they know the difference between right and wrong because they've matured. Next, Not all

Love, the emotion expressed so widely from friends to romance, is the basis of marriage. The idea of matrimony revolves around the concept of one loving another so deeply that they want to join together and share a life together. The best description for marriage encompasses words like; commitment, unconditional love, and pure beauty from within one's heart. There is no possible way to measure the validity or trueness of these emotions. When a couple decides to wed, they are making the ultimate commitment to each other. Ultimately, the commitment should be a decision made by the couple and no one else. Many other countries practice arranged marriage, which couples are forced by their family to marry. In America, we are blessed with the freedom to choose who we marry. You may think that you have that right, but you actually do not!
Approximately 107,000 youth younger than 18 is incarcerated on any given day “Juveniles in Adult Prisons and Jails”. There are so many arguments about if juveniles should be tried as adults. In my opinion, I don’t believe they should, mostly because the juvenile mind isn’t fully developed. In every state there are different rules and requirements for the juvenile to be tried as an adult. Instead of putting these Juveniles in prisons and jails there are different facilities these juveniles can be housed in. Inside prison the juveniles are isolated from everything and it affects them harshly. Juveniles shouldn’t be punished by being put into prisons or jails, there are so many other options to choose that aren’t as harsh.
No one expects to divorce when they get married but nearly half of all marriages will end in divorce or separation. Divorce can be costly, with court fees and attorneys. Dr. Doherty, noted marriage scholar and therapist has determined a list of risk factors that are attributed to marital problems and divorce. The first three: Young age, less education and less income are coincidently other topics brushed upon in this paper. Impulsive decisions made by younger people to marry leads to children which leads to financial instability. Once a couple has children, they are unlikely to further their education because of lack of time. Divorce also has a negative effect on
Some’s definition of Marriage is when two souls coming into one soul –still distinct but forming one entity. Being raised in the church, marriage is when two people come together, declaring their wedding vows to each other and to God. Marriage is
The fourth and final step of the marriage process is to become one flesh. According to free dictionary.com, become means “to grow or come to be,” or “to be appropriate or suitable; to develop or grow into; to be appropriate; befit.” Becoming is a process that takes time and work. Tim Keller states that in order to call a union marriage, “sex is understood as both a sign of that personal, legal union and a means to accomplish it. The Bible says don’t unite with someone physically unless you are also willing to unite with the person emotionally, personally, socially, economically, and legally. Don’t become physically naked and vulnerable to the another person without becoming vulnerable in every other way, because you have given up your freedom and bound yourself in marriage.” (Keller pg. 215) God’s design is supposed to occur on the wedding night as they complete their marriage vows by having sex. It is clear that “they will become one flesh” is a indirect term for sex but it is also more than sex. The become one is to be on the same page, mind and accord. It is correct to compare it to one brain, making one decision and taking one action. Together one path, and they share one authority, one heart, one body, one mind, one thought, one church, and one God. The spouses become one flesh in every sense of the word. All these areas of oneness are important because division in any of them will cause them to stumble.
The Great Depression was the deepest and longest-lasting economic downfall in the history of the United Sates. No event has yet to rival The Great Depression to the present day today although we have had recessions in the past, and some economic panics, fears. Thankfully the United States of America has had its shares of experiences from the foundation of this country and throughout its growth many economic crises have occurred. In the United States, the Great Depression began soon after the stock market crash of October 1929, which sent Wall Street into a panic and wiped out millions of investors ("The Great Depression."). In turn from this single tragic event, numerous amounts of chain reactions occurred.
Marriage is a “socially recognized and approved union between individuals, who commit to one another with the expectations of a stable and lasting intimate relationship. It begins with a ceremony known as a wedding which formally unites marriage partners. A marital relationship usually involves some kind of contract, either written or specified by tradition, which defines the partners’ rights and obligations to each other, to any children they may have, and to their relatives. In most contemporary industrialized societies, marriage is certified by the government,” (Skolnick, 2005). Marriage is also an important institution because of the impact it has on society. Marriage is the main way that reproduction of human life occurs. In some societies it is tradition for family heirlooms or things of value be passed on through marriage. Marriage also serves as a healthy way to have intimate relationships with an individual. In most places a marriage exists between two people of the opposite sex. However, the legal definition of marriage is currently being challenged by many. According to Skolnick’s article a marriage can be defined by responsibilities that a couple would share, some examples are: living together, having sexual relations, sharing money and financial responsibilities, and having a child together. The issue is that homosexual couples can do these things like heterosexual couples.
From the past to present, people all over the world have determined to live together, which is called “get marriage” in another word, so that they depend on for living each other. Nevertheless, some couples are unable to maintain their relationship; therefore they choose divorce, which is one of the solutions to cope with problems between husband and wife. Furthermore, most people think carefully before they get marriage. However, the divorce rates trend to continually increase nowadays, thus it might be argued that divorces can be taken place easier than the past. There are three main causes of divorce: changing woman’s roles, stress in modern living and lack of communication, which are highlighted below.
Many people main life dream is to marry the person they have fall in love with someday. However, most of the time, this dream can be shattered. When the expectations they have for the relationship are not met, the marriage starting to fail and the end result can be devastating. When two people make a commitment to live with each order happily ever after, the worst thing that can happen is to deal with divorce. Therefore, there could be numerous factors or causes contributing to the end of a matrimonial union between two persons, such as lack of communication, infidelity and financial issues.
What is Marriage? Marriage is when people are being united together as husband and wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by the law. Marriage hasn’t always been how it is now, where women have a say in family problems, and where woman have the right to choose whom they want to marry. Before during the ancient times, women had to marry those in their families, and could not marry those that were Marriage use to be all about doing what you needed to support your family, which meant you married someone who was able to give you what you needed. Marriage wasn’t because you loved someone, but it was always because people wanted to preserve power. Now in the marriage, people marry, because they love each other, and because they want to make an effort to spend the rest of their lives together.
