Students sure have to admire the professor’s point- of- view and his/her creativity to educate the classroom. Learning in the classroom is consisting of creativity, participating, and excitement in learning in the classroom. In addition, participation in activities students usually feels they are being educated and that makes entire class much more enthusiastic place to learn and share knowledge with other students. Although, the excitement of getting students work recognized and that work is rewarded brings joy and excitement to classroom so students are eager to learn about new experiences. Mr. Litt’s idea of grade-by-grade program attracted visitors who admire Mr. Litt’s efforts to increase the knowledge his students observe in classroom.
From the quiz responses, the professor is able to determine whether he should spend more time explaining the concept, or if the majority of the class understands the idea, allowing him to move on to the next topic. In conclusion, classes will be very entertaining. I-clickers bring many positive aspects such as motivating students to participate more often, improving their class performance, and monitoring their understanding of the course material. Adoption of I-clickers can have a great impact on learning experiences and educational outcomes. Students will certainly enjoy a more fruitful academic life with this educational technology.

According to the Grasha-Riechmann Student Learning Style Scales (Grasha, 1996), six categories—independent, dependent, competitive, collaborative, avoidant, and participant—are used to describe student learning styles. These different learning styles affect how much support the instructor needs to provide. Also, having an understanding of student learning styles is important so that instructors offer plenty of opportunities for the students to feel comfortable in their class. Indirect teaching brings the class together and allows students to learn from each other and share knowledge as they learn. Indirect teaching by definition relies “instruction seeks a high level of student involvement in observing, investigating, drawing inferences from data, or forming hypotheses. It takes advantage of students' interest and curiosity, often encouraging them to generate alternatives or solve problems”(5). This kind of teaching strategy allows you to build a community in your class room by having your students speak and communicate to not only you but to other students. In physical education you may not be doing group projects or anything like that, but you can have group discussions because you will have students who know more about an activity or sport then others.
I am becoming an educator because I feel that I can positively influence the lives of others. I am confident in my ability to interact with others as I look forward to improving students’ lives through education. I feel that in order for students to prosper they must be comfortable with their learning environment. I plan to have an well-organized classroom with various bulletin boards highlighting current chapters of study, as well as announcements and assignments. I also believe that you must keep students both interested and involved to achieve successful learning.
However, having the opportunity to work one on one with an educator who has excellent lesson plans, my fears are absolutely calmed. My cooperating teacher started with the large novels and works, then moved on to the smaller works and mini-lessons that corresponded with what the students were taking part in. One research based teaching strategy that I have seen work successfully in a classroom is when my cooperating teacher paid specific attention to the multiple intelligences in her classroom. The students were engaged due to the differentiated education and were able to take part in meaningful learning
Throughout the course of our social science methods class I explored, discovered, and grew in so many great ways that will befit me in my future classroom someday. From class presentations, small group work, independent research, and other teaching strategies I now know about the social studies standards, I understand current trends in social studies education. I can plan high-level thinking strategies and I can use technology successfully in the classroom to influence students. I am able to prepare organized lessons that integrate multiple different content areas, and I am able to create learning experiences for students with diverse abilities. In order to know both the national and state social studies standards we got to partake in some great learning strategies.
Because cooperative learning develops skills stated earlier, I believe that my students would benefit from my class if they learn how to manage and correctly appreciate criticisms. In my classroom I would allow students to develop their own set of classroom rules and consequences with my guidance. This allows the students to define the meaning of respect and how it applies to our classroom and provides a judicious approach to discipline. Learning to respect one another develops a mutual trust among the classroom community. Learning respect also occurs through an open sharing of ideas. Students become members of the classroom community by using discussion strategies and positive support of others ideas.
