Introduction
Globalization is a modern phenomenon that can be analyzed from different angles. The term comes from the English globalization, where overall equals the world. Therefore, some believe that the most appropriate concept in Castilian would be globalization, derived from the French word mundialization. Broadly speaking, one could say that globalization is the integration of various international companies in a single world capitalist market. Therefore, the phenomenon is defended from economic theories as neo-liberalism and by entities such as the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

Brazil is also inserted in the process of globalization. However, the consensus is that it is only from the 1990s that Globalization has a greater impact on the Brazilian culture, economy and political aspects. Another important issue in the economic aspect is the integration of Brazil in the international financial market. Foreign investors invest in Brazil, mainly through the Stock Exchange, bringing capital to the country. However, when world crisis occurred, Brazil was directly affected because its economy is closely linked to the international financial world. It is very common that in times of global economic crisis; foreign investors withdraw money from Brazil, causing a fall in stock values and a decrease in capital for investments (Guttmann).
In the culture, we can also highlight several types of benefits. Through the internet, television, press, music and other means of communication, it is possible for us to follow new cultures and thus to know a little more about other countries.
