Recommended: How businesses can promote themselves on social media

I applied to become the President of one of our school's club, FCCLA (Family, Career, Community, Leaders of America) and I ended up being the co-President with another fellow student. FCCLA has a popular community service event called, Taste of Chelan Restaurant Walk. The objective of the event is to help local business in our small town promote their restaurant and one of their dishes for tourists who come in for this event and locals who participate. I have done this event for about three years now, every time I participate I end up meeting different types of people. This event helps our community by prompting business during the slower times like Fall and Winter, and I am a proud active member of FCCLA that has helped this event.
