FBI Agents FBI agents are special agents who can understand the minds of criminals and the psychotic and save people who are endangered by them. They are a higher rank than a police officer and deal with serial killers. FBI agents keep streets clean of psychopaths who have intentions of hurting others. Special agents are often engaged in secretive operations to observe criminals over time until they have got enough evidence to arrest and prosecute them. Special agents provide protection for people and manage security. They preform undercover objectives and while they are undercover they develop relationships with informants. Agents examine records and can serve subpoenas if necessary (“Criminal Investigators”). Special agents obtain warrants to collect and secure evidence. Sometimes agents have to write detailed reports on the cases. Special agents have to investigate crimes and arrest the people who do wrong (“Police and detectives”). A police officer or detective’s job can be very stressful and dangerous. They can come in contact with unpleasant and sometimes horrific events (“FBI Agents” 306). They also have one of the highest injury and illness rates of all jobs (“Police and Detectives”). Special agents must keep all cases confidential even with relatives and spouses. FBI agents have a lot of responsibility, respect, and have a different adventure every day. At any time and at any location they can be called to a case (“FBI Agents” 306). Police and special agents can be called to work at any time, almost no matter how important what you are involved with in your personal life is. The nice thing is most agents can wear plain clothes to the job. I would recommend this job to others only if they really care about the job because agents have the life of others in their hands, so you have to be careful and much focused.
