These conversations will be record through a phone or camera. I will also prefer to have this process videotaped, but will work with the participant with the confidentiality of this information. I hope to do this research through the USC Problem without passport program. This program involves taking the course SOCI-499: Forced labor and Human Trafficking in Dubai. According to Dornsife in which this course is offered, I will spent about 10 days with a professor to learn more about the culture in Dubai and the experiences of vulnerable migrant population (Parreñas). In addition, the professor will offer me advice on various techniques in ethnographic research to further refine this project. After these days of lecture, I will travel to Dubai for about 1 month to conduct my research. During my time there, I will hire a tour-guide that will acts as a research assistant to help me navigate the city and set up the environment for these interviews. My research assistant will make calls with employers and filipino maids to negotiate compensation for participation in these interviews.
During my time in Dubai, I hope to get data from three groups. Group 1 are the Filipino maids that has seek refuge from their employer. These participants will be located in a shelter set up by the Filipino labour office in Dubai.

Cultures are unique in many ways; it is irregular to see cultures that are exactly the same as another. While some may borrow parts from neighboring countries or villages, all in all, their unique differences are what make each culture significant. One of the things about the Saudi Arabia and the culture is how derived it is around history, faith, marketing, control, and how westernization affects the country. Other things that will be discussed about the country Saudi Arabia relates to what is important not only to me, but also the way we as Americans culturally identify ourselves with the women of the country.

Dubai, called by some as a dream in a desert; a gate way between the east and the west. Home to some of the world's tallest and buildings and to the only underwater hotel, Dubai may seem like the embodiment of magnificence, but beneath it's appearance of perfection there lies a dark secret. While Dubai may seem to be in a position of economic bliss, Dubai has been racking up billions of dollars in debt and there is no indication of it slowing down. Even though the United Arab Emirates are in an economic downturn, they still continue to spend vast amounts of money, a habit which will not prove well for the country in the future.
Nowadays, the world is beginning to notice the changes and differences that are happening in the United Arab Emirates. These changes involve many different things such as, economic development, improving trade, tourist attraction etc. In this assignment, we will talk about the development of United Arab Emirates and its vision on the year 2030.

Competition, and yearly celebrations, for example, the Dubai Shopping celebration. Also, he started development on the sail-formed Hotel known as Burj Al Arab, which rapidly turned into Dubai's trademark and a sign of identity. Sheikh Mohammad also encouraged the formation of new vacation destinations, for example, Dubai land, an amusement park, and the Palm Islands, an approach to make an artificial island in the middle of the sea, which not only was a great success but also took engineering to a next level . As a result of such ventures, Dubai's greatest income after oil comes from tourism as millions of tourists visit Dubai annually as Dubai saw a rapid growth from having under 50 Hotels in 1985 to more than 250 in 2002.Tourists are appealed towards Dubai due to its warm weather in the winter, its shorelines, and its repellence to Western ways of life amongst its visitors, including alcohol obsessions. In addition to this, the attractions that Dubai's leaders have fabricated, surely added a cherry on the top to make Dubai the best travelling destination across the globe. Shaikh Mohammed has additionally coordinated a development of the facilitated commerce zone idea that started with the Jebel Ali free zone in the late 20th century. Apart from this mass communication was taken to an utterly new level by the introduction of an experimental commerce zone known as Media City which again proved to be a feat. Within this zone, partnership was able to exploit a great degree liberal exchange administration that imitates the starting Jebel Ali zone. Likewise, Dubai's leaders
The Philippines has long been a country with a struggling economy. Ever since World War II, they have struggled to have a steady government and labor system. Independence did not bring any social changes to the country. The hacienda system still persists in the country, where large estates are farmed by sharecroppers. More the half the population are peasants and 20 percent of the population owns 60 percent of the land. Although the sharecropper is supposed to receive half of the harvest, most of the peasant's actual income goes to paying off debts to the landowner. Poverty and conflict strained the industrial growth of the country with many Presidents trying to fix the problems, but failing to do so. Factors that have faced the country are there is almost 9 percent unemployment, and the country suffers from the consequences of a balance of trade deficit. With the resources that the Philippines have, they are capable of pulling themselves out of the economical hole they are in and being up to par with their successful neighboring countries.
Ras Al Khaimah, one of seven beautiful Emirates located in the northernmost part of the United Arab Emirates. Throughout this paper I will be talking about my favourite vacation and intergrade material I have learned throughout my intro to tourism course. Throughout my life I have been very fortunate to travel around the globe and experience beautiful and raw cultures this world has to offer. Through my teenage life, I grew up in Dubai, an Emirate that is growing rapidly and highly recognised when discerning the tourism industry. Each Emirate has a royal family that sets the rules and Sharia laws that local, expats and tourists need to oblige too and respect. Saying this, the royal family of each Emirate decides what to do with their land, and this is why some emirates are more
