Jesus refers to the children as ‘My little ones’ which suggests they belong to him. So it is basically saying that if you are to harm one of Jesus’ children, then you are harming him in the process, as his children are a part of him. All of these quotations which address the issue of abortion are taken into account and they help people to understand the Christians perspectives on abortion, and why they feel so strongly upon the matter. Jesus was given the gift of life from God, he was born of the Immaculate Conception, he was born free of sin and lived his life like all of God’s children should, and we are all gods’ children, so by depriving some of his children of their gift, we are harming out father in the process too.
This is stated numerous times throughout the bible. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you came to birth I consecrated you, I have appointed you as prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:8 God has mapped out our lives even before our conception. He has chosen what we will do. He knows us even before we are born. Therefore it is not for us to end a new life because God may have great plans for that person.
Many national opinions find a basis from propaganda and here-say, no one can honestly recognize the source of the problem. As every other problem in the United States, it has a plus side. Thousands of people struggle with the issue of abortion being illegal or legal, stopping at nothing to prove who's right or wrong. Thousands of years ago abortion was done as an everyday common fashion. Up until the mid to late 1800’s states began passing laws to outlaw abortions, but they stayed anyway.
What makes this a very controversial subject is because marriage is seen as one man and one woman being in love according to Christian beliefs. With that being said, there have been discrimination about same-sex couples are not allowed or not seen right in God’s eyes and will be heavily judged on judgement day. Not just in America, but all over the world, there have been protests and rallies about how love is love and you can not judge anyone based on who you fall in love with, no matter the sex of the person, sexual orientation, etc. Abortion has definitely been a controversial subject back since the 1900s. Abortion talks about how killing an unborn baby, while still inside the embryo.
I disagree with this because after the aborton process, the mother be regret it and fall into deep depression or have a mental breakdown. B. Not everyone would agree that aborton is wrong, but it has a negative impact on many families and can cause emotional side effects, as well as harming an innocent fetus which cannot protect themselves. The main reason abortion is wrong is that God said we are not to murder. But not all people believe what God says so let 's look at it from a different angle.
Aigner Jackson Carol Froisy College Composition I Abortions for what? For years now women have been aborting fetuses. Some with and others without the help of medical professionals. Although abortion is an unjust procedure that hinders women both mentally and physically. The risk to the woman and fetus are well known, but still ignored.
Within no time, the fetus also has human characteristics: a head, hands, legs, arms, feet, and a torso. Thus, abortion should be legalized only when murder becomes legal, because abortion is murder. The advocates against abortion still say, what about the radical cases? If a single mother living in poverty is pregnant, and she cannot provide for her baby, should it still be born? If a child with a disability is to be born, should the parents be allowed to kill/abort the child out of pity?
It is also said that the babies sometimes come out screaming and have looks of pain on their faces (“Reasons abortion should”). Also abortion is against the doctors’ hippocratic oath which states that only do health no harm (Messerli 2). Fin... ... middle of paper ... ...that baby with the struggles he or she may face and will help them live close to a normal life (“Should abortion be” 2). Even if the baby does not have hands or feet or cannot walk or speak does not mean that they are not human. There are people in the world who live without arms or legs and they are still considered human (Slick 2).
Although, nearly all women who forego the procedure of an abortion were already on a form of contraception drug, so the baby is clearly unwanted. Adoption isn’t the same as an abortion, because it should be the woman’s choice on if she wants to put her body through the stresses of a pregnancy. Also, many women who have their babies don’t just give them up for adoption, and in both cases, the child is bound to feel unwanted at some point.
He created them male and female" this explains that if we are made to be like God, then we must be special. In addition, in Psalm139:16, it says "…Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed" this means that God had a plan for every second of our lives even before birth. God, especially saw through all stages of life's creation and "knit" us together in our mother's womb. Subsequently, if God took so much care to create a life, then surely life must hold a high significance. Due to this significance and value placed on life, life must therefore be protected.
