A management information system (MIS) is an information collection and analysis system that facilitates access to program and participant information."(mays.tamu.edu, 2013) This system is usually computerized. Businesses use MIS at all levels of operation to collect, process and store data. Management uses this data in the form of information needed to carry out the daily operations of the business. Everyone who works in business, from someone who pays the bills to the person who makes employment decisions, uses MIS. In fact, many (if not most) companies concentrate on the alignment of MIS with business goals to achieve competitive advantage over other companies. "The major components of the MIS are the database, the model base, and the user interface. Starting back in the early 1990's with the introduction of Java to the computer scene there has been many updates and advances in how languages interact with web based programs. In this paper we are going to highlight several areas of several different Java flavors. The flavors we are addressing are Java, JavaScript, Java Applets and JavaBeans. We will discuss their history, features, usage and syntax and finally follow up with a chart providing a comparison of the different Java architectures.

This method of an international approach will allow the owner to monitor other competitors within the same industry. My second, choice is the intranet, which is similar to the internet form of technology “inside the corporation (O’brien & Marakas, 2009),” which means the company can successfully collaborate with others by communicating with their colleagues using an internal method. For example, Educational systems utilize intranets as a method for including everyone within the educational system to send out massive email announcements as alerts for upcoming training and other protocol tactics that everyone in the school system should be made aware of to promote growth. The objective is to increase communication skills successfully to personalized contacts, one-on-one meetings, phone calls, and emails are critical ways to communicate while conducting business.
