Ethics Throughout the movie “The Founder” Ray Kroc utilizes theories of ethics and also falls for some ethics traps. At first Ray presented his idea for McDonalds by using utilitarian ethics. However, it is quite clear that later on Ray uses ethical egoism. The road to success wasn’t particularly easy for Ray. He falls for some ethical traps such as money and rationalization. When Ray first met with Dick and Mac he was amazed by their fast food restaurant and was immediately thinking big picture.
