As a child, I liked to watch the “behind the scenes” of a movie. My sisters and I always tried to recreate the movies I watched behind the scenes footage for – I was always the director and editor, and they were the actresses. It was around my freshmen year in school when one day I was editing a video me and my sisters had made I realized that I decided that I wanted to become a movie director. So, if I could have a ticket to go anywhere, it would be to a studio in Hollywood to direct a Hollywood movie. I know would make an astonishing movie director because I have great leadership skills. [Then talk about how you developed these skills]. being the captain of the dance ministry at my church and being vice president of the national honors society as taught great leadership skills. Additionally, being in marching band taught me how to work well with others and how to handle multiple task at once. These qualities are all good skills to have when you’re a movie director because you must know how to lead and focus on more than thing at a time. Running long distance in track for the past 8 years has taught me how to have patients and a strong drive which is also an amazing characteristic to have as a movie director in Hollywood. I would also talk to some of the actors in the movies and ask them what characteristics make up a good movie director to them. After I get all the feedback, I will compare what characteristics they think a good movie director should have and to my characteristics that I already have. After I’ve done that I will sit back a watch the work place environment of being a movie director so I can adjust myself to that type of atmosphere. I will then go in on hands work as movie director and start directing my first Hollywood
