1.Do you believe you are a critical thinker? In what way? I am a critical thinker because every time I encounter or observe a problem that required me to intervene or provide solution, I usually analyze what the problem is, evaluate the fact or data I gather during my analysis, think about possible interventions and evaluate all the possible outcomes of whatever interventions I choose, then I provide rationale for each intervention and decide on the best and most appropriate solution to the problem. This is what critical thinking is all about; to be able analyze what is observed or encountered and make informed and well thought out decision about the issue at hand.

If any problem or potential problem is detected, I give the problem a name that is : a description or diagnosis. Then I plan and set measurable goal and possible outcome for each problem. Then I implement my planned action. And after every intervention, I make sure I go back to evaluate if the goal (s) were met or not. Sometimes I use this process when am dealing with patient’s families, colleagues and at home. Anytime I encounter situations, I acknowledge if there is a problem or potential problem, I assess what the problem is, plan on what to do, set goal on when and how to accomplish what I plan to do, implement my plan and evaluate the outcome.
