Phone Evolution
Since Motorola researcher Martin Cooper successfully invented handheld mobile phone in 1973, the use of phone immediately strike through all the places in the world. The prototype handheld phone used by Dr. Cooper weighed 1.1 kg and measured 23 cm long, 13 cm deep and 4.45 cm wide. Even in some countries were so poor to own one still know what is it. The charm of phone attracted many people, even though it was super expensive, and only wealthy people could own one. Also of the uses of phone increased, and the generalization was in quick process. Sony, Nokia, Blackberry, Motorola, and many companies were well known in the world. Human ambition will never die. In 2000s, the size of the phone become smaller and smaller, the price decreases so that normal people could able to buy one. Till today, if you still don’t own a phone, you should really think about yourselves, are you really a human being who live in the Earth, are you really not come from other planets who thinks phone was too outdated that no one in your planet would use it.
The huge progress in the whole phone evolution process was Apple. Yes, an apple, but don’t relate this apple to the apple you really could eat. Well, this apple was actually already got a bite by someone we never know. Maybe Steve Job bite it, but who knows. This apple was the most coolest and awesome phone ever, a little box with no any number pad on it, only a screen that can reflect your whole face in it. In 2007, the first generation iphone was out, which also called smartphone today. No doubt that smartphone really smarter than any human in the world. Camera, dictionary, games, e-book, map, music, almost included everything that you ca...

...e, quality, make sure people will not know what they had taken before, every detail, such as how smooth your skin was, and how many zit do you have, it will tell you on the photo, how old you are, it perfectly showed it all out in front of you, and you will be thankful when you show the picture you took to your friend, so that you will not keep forgetting to do makeup before you take the picture.
Phone evolves so fast, and being more perfect by time. Such as the airplane mode. People were so confidence that the dream will come true, and people were guessing maybe the future phone will have a time traveling mode, so that people could visit their ancestor more easily, or maybe they could help the ancestor how make phone work! Maybe to that time, Iphone will develop to generation 51, just hope it will not run out of battery and crashed in somewhere in United States.
Since his creation, I'm sure it was unexpected for the telephone to morph into such technological devices such as the newest iPhones and such. Days where one has to write a letter to communicate are long gone. Even jail inmates are able to make phone calls for a price. The world revolves around money and business and the revolving will be continuous forever. The social change is much greater than just technology. When the mobile phone was invented, people could then use their mobile devices wherever they go!
Cell phone sells were at its apex. Cooper and his team devised a technology so novel that the popularity of it was instantaneous. A device with the ability of only conversating is what the first cell phone was, but as time progressed and technology flourished the once simple talking device transformed into a diminutive computer. Gradually, a plethora of unique features were supplemented to the cell phone sharpening its value making it worthier and superior to the first cell phone. These features include browser accessib...
The launch of iPhone was a transformation for the entire company. It was introduced as a multifunction smartphone that provided customer with a very unique touch base interface and an excellent operating system delivering results as same as a personal computer. To make it available in the market the company joined hands with AT&T. As the time passed by, the company kept on upgrading the model from 3G to other versions. It launched iPhone 4, then iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 and 5S and the latest are iPhone 6, 6S and 6S plus. Also built different user interface that helped people to get connected to the family at one touch.
Cell phones have become a part of mainstream culture. Recently they have become more affordable and accomplish much more than making and receiving calls. Along with the growing popularity there is also growing concerns about safety and health. In this paper we will address cell phone history and how they have evolved. We will discuss health concerns such as tumors and talking while driving. Finally, we will talk about all of the technology that cell phones can accomplish such as receiving Email and buying stocks.
Many of the early cell phones were considered “car phones” because they were extremely bulky and too big to fit into one's pocket. The first mobile phone due to its smaller size would still be considered overly large in today’s world. It was called the Motorola DynaTAC 8000x and arrived on the market in 1983. “You always have the trendsetters who are not afraid of trying new things and then everyone else follows. They were primarily used in the sales and business world, but not often for personal use like you see today” ("Ai InSite"). As technology advanced, companies invented new ways to pack all their customer’s desired features into smaller, portable, and more affordable models. Companies started with a cell phone size as big as a computer and have now created small enough devices to keep in a pocket. They have created bigger screens, built-in cameras, phones with less buttons, and many have touch screens now days. The shape of cell phones have drastically changed over the years.
Back in the late 70s and early 80s phones did not have cameras or web browsing or anything like that. They were basically just plastic boxes with wiring inside unlike today’s smartphones with glass touchscreens HD camcorders, video calling, and web capability, but if not for the first cellphone we would not have come so far since then. In 1973 the founder of Motorola Martin Cooper made it easier to call and chat with people and made the worlds first mobile phone. However, it was not approved by the FCC until September 21, 1983, when it became the first commercial portable cellphone. At a cost of $3,995 people thought of this as the future of communication and everyone wanted to get their hands on one though looking back on it now they might have been a little over priced compared to todays modern cellphone prices. We have come a long way since the 70s phones have become more compacted easier to take on the go and today mankind is still coming up with ever newer ways to stay close to ...
The very first iPhone was announced by the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs, in 2007. His vision was to reinvent the phone. iPhones have revolutionized smartphones and have shaped the cell phone industry into what it is today. On January 9, 2007, Steve Jobs put together an incredible keynote presentation. He stated that he would be “introducing a wide-screen ipod with touch controls, a revolutionary mobile phone, and a breakthrough Internet device” (Ritchie, 2015). The audience assumed that this meant that Mr. Jobs would be launching three separate devices. However, it was only one device, the iPhone. Within the past 7 years, Apple has been able to tweak its iPhones by incorporating major redesigns. These redesigns use combinations
So the question is, how is the evolution of smartphones impacting our society? History of Smartphones According to Reed (2010), smartphones were first brought to the attention of the public in 1993 by IBM and BellSouth. When the first smartphone was produced, it was called "Simon". Even though the technology was nowhere near what it is today, "Simon" utilized a touch screen and was able send faxes and access e-mail. The use of the touch screen foreshadowed what would come 14 years later, the iPhone.
Sadly, now everything has changed with the major improvements in technology. Phones didn't only change society, but it changed the world in many ways. People are always connected to each other. People before have imagined flying cars and other inventions for the future, but no one even thought of having cellular devices. On the bright side, having a cell phone makes communication and interaction much easier.
Cell phone technology has come far since it’s creation. Cell phones have developed from devices simply used to make calls that were the size of a brick,
When phones became available to the public they were not considered to be mobile in today’s sense of the word. They were available to have installed in an automobile, they were big and bulky, and they needed and consumed a lot of power to use. The phone networks would only support a few simultaneous conversations. Cell phones since then have made vast improvements in their efficiency, abilities, and size. The first handheld mobile phone wasn’t produce until 1973. The origin...
The smart phone was innovated heavily towards the late 2000’s and a lot of the newer features on them made their value skyrocket. There was a time when phones could only make calls, and even then the service was not that reliable. Eventually, companies start innovating with better resources of technology and start giving consumers more of a bargain for their dollars. The early 2000’s come around (2000-2004) and cell phones start to innovate text messaging, and some basis for PDA computing. The PDA industry did not last long because of the quick innovation ...
In 2007, Apple designed the first touch screen phone and it was a huge change and after three years, everyone wants to buy touch screen phone and Apple became the super star of the smartphone market. Apple’s unique designs changed the definition of fashion in the smartphone world, sine then, apple become the leader of smartphone market.
Thinking about 40 years ago we think about ancient time periods, but around that time is usually when we started to generate an easier way to communicate. The first block phone, as we can say was a huge step in the development of communication, but it doesn 't compare to the useful resources of the smartphone. In April 3, 1973, Martin Cooper, a senior engineer at Motorola, called a rival communications company and informed them that he was speaking via mobile phone. This one of the first mobile phones in which you were only able to talk for about thirty minutes (knowyourmobile.com). Motorola created the use for the device that way people were able to talk to someone at any given time of day. Of course, that kind of technology doesn’t exist anymore due to the major technological advancements, which happened along side the growth of the company. A company is which started out as a battery eliminator plans and manufacturing equipment, has now turned into a multi-million dollar in which Google has purchased. In the 1920s when the company has first started their first payroll of the week was only about 63 dollars (www.motorola.com). Come to think of how things are the only real impact on the company is how the people manage to captivate the sense of technology that Motorola was able to offer. We no longer use block phones which only let us talk for a limited amount of time. The development
Since the invention of the cell phones, there has been a turning point in history because of its massive addition of technology. Without cell phones, there would be no such thing as using the internet on the go. The iPhone, Samsung, and Android phones are the most popular cellular devices today. A cell phone is a device with a handheld computer, simply offering Internet access, data storage and usage, e-mail, etc. They are useful for quick sources such as Goggle for looking up important information on the internet or using Google maps in the car to find your destination. This is one reason why cell phones are a significant asset to technology.
