I feel that †̃practising what you preachâ€TM within the school environment regarding the school†ethos, mission, aims and values is one of the most effective ways of implementing them. I believe it is important for members of staff to be positive role models and for them to set good examples of the behaviour that is expected of the school for the children. Furthermore, the reward method that is used to communicate the ethos, mission, aims and values of my place of work is very effective. The method ensures that the child is acknowledged for displaying the desired behaviour and encourages them to continue doing so.

Adults who work in schools must be up to date and aware of the current curriculums in the countries they live in. Children and young people must have a well balanced curriculum that adheres to the outcomes of the Every Child Matters principle (being healthy, staying safe, enjoying and achieving, achieving economic well-being and making a positive a positive contribution.
